The Villa Vista Montaña is set in 3000m2 mature landscaped gardens, with unhindered breathtaking views of sweeping volcanic mountain ranges and spectacular sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean, and is regarded by many as being the best property of its type and location available in the area. The heated swimming pool and patio are secluded and set out to maximise on the year-round sunshine and has been walled for privacy, whilst the covered BBQ and dining area provides shade in even the hottest of temperatures. Internally, this superior accommodation is tastefully furnished & the spacious rooms are well maintained and decorated to exceptionally high standards throughout, giving a comforting “home from home” ambience. As a space to chill out or as a base to explore the island and enjoy the Fuerteventura Experience the Vista Montaña is the perfect place to stay and its charm has guests returning year after year - the guest book shows many visitors just don’t want to leave!
Having visited the island for many years, we knew we needed to find something more permanent, and were lucky enough to find this plot of land and have the villa built.
Stan Hardwick purchased this villa in 2004
Fuerteventura is loved as a Canarian destination by thousands of visitors, and the village of Tindaya is an ideal location to explore the island and all it has to offer, while the Vista Montaña provides homely comfort and privacy for those days by the pool.
As the last property in the South West of the village of Tindaya, the Vista Montaña offers a tranquil location for guests to enjoy the uninterrupted views to the Atlantic Ocean, and excellent sunsets.
Hi Lynne and Stan, loved the villa and Tindaya. Great holiday ... Needed
the heater in the evenings, but weather was actually pretty good. Ross has
some drone footage of the villa and the area and when he has edited it, I
will forward it on to you. The villa looks great from above. Best wishes.

We arrived in the dark but the instructions from Stan and Lynne were spot on and we had no problem finding the Villa, if you arrive as we did in the dark you will need a torch to see the key safe. There is everything you could possibly need at the villa, including the pool, but you knew that anyway didnt you. We were blown away by the size of it, it was just my wife and I so lots of room but even if there are 6 of you still lots of room. When we woke up the next morning and looked out over the small wall to the views it was a superb vista across the plains to the mountains in the distance, we walked around the property to look at the garden which has lots of cactus asnd other plants which draw the birds in. There is a massive TV with sky and DVD player, an assortment of DVDs and games for young and old, we took our Amazon fire stick as there isnt any really English TV to watch except the BBC world news which is basically the world buisiness and stuff! I think you will definately need a car we used CICAR rental, we normally use a broker but found these on Google and they are a Canary Island business and have offices all over the Island in case anything goes wrong. You will need to bring a light jumper or cardigan for the chilly evenings and if you go out you will need to be prepared for wind as it really does blow at times, not cold as in the UK but especially if you go up the mountains. If I had a negative to say the villa could do with some trays to carry food or other things from the kitchen to the dinning areas either inside or out. Now thats not much of a negative is it :-) The bed we used was very comfy and supportive and with an ensuite with a very good shower. We obviously cant say about the other 4 beds as we didnt use them but they had a toilet and shower between them, there is also another toilet by the kitchen, so no one should get caught out short.
thank you Stan and Lynne and well done for a superb Villa
My Parents have visited Villa Montana for a number of years, so we thought we would have a go. We have had a fantastic weeks holiday, Villa is well presented and decorated to a high standard, Pool is heated and was lovely and warm, area is not overlooked and very private, we loved sitting on the patio watching the sun go down, We would recommend the property for those wanting a peaceful away from it all holiday. Thank you to the owners for our stay, we would love to come back.
Lovely Peaceful
We are a family of 5 and have just returned from this lovely Villa, it was just perfect lovely views not overlooked, the internal pictures do not do it justice. Supplied lovely towels and bedding lots of hot water which makes a change. We would recommend this villa to any one looking a touch of luxury. We could not fault this house the only negative was we had to leave. We would definitely come back. A big thank you to the owners
The villa is spacious, well decorated and tastefully furnished. It sits on the edge of a very quiet village and is ideal if you are looking for a get away from it all type holiday.
My wife and I stayed for a week during February which is probably the wettest and coldest month of the year on Fuerteventura. The weather during our stay was very mixed and this highlighted a couple of problems - the villa has no air conditioning or heating ( apart from a small oil filled portable radiatior which was completely ineffective ) so jumpers are a necessity at night when the house is cold. Having a shower is a race against time before the hot water runs out and then the next person has to wait until the next batch of hot water heats up. We also had a small problem with towels supplied - there was a set of two towels supplied which for two people sounds right, but when the weather is not good and you cannot dry your towels on the outdoor drying rail, you have no other means of drying them as there is no heating or tumble dryer. I think the problem would be much worse for a capacity of six people. This could be remedied simply by supplying some extra towels.
The private pool looked lovely but unfortunately we could not get any use from it due to the weather.
Overall, this is a very nice house which is quietly located, offering good facilities and a private pool set within a secluded sun terrace. Only a couple of small niggles stop me from giving it five stars.
Great holiday, what a lovely villa, we meet owners as we arrived early and they were over seeing new pool cover being fitted. We're very helpful. We could not fault anything just great.
We are a couple in our 50's holiday on the island twice a year, this is one of the best villa's we gave stayed in, Pool was lovely and warm, villa is not overlooked just great.
We had no problem with anything, we were supplied with a heater which was appreciated as the nights can be a bit cool, we meet agent on are second day, very pleasant, GREAT holiday hope to be back.
Coast/Beach:
The nearest beach is just 7 kilometres away and is never crowded. With the only sounds to be heard coming from the sea-birds, the wind and the Atlantic Ocean, it is probably the closest most people will get to true serenity. While the “Las Dunas” National Park with its remarkable beaches and sand dunes are about a 30 minute drive.
Travel:
The Villa is located about 25 minutes drive from the island's airport, and a car will be necessary.
Distances:
The Vista Montaña is just 25 minutes from the resort of Corralejo, with its water park, twice weekly market and shops, bars & restaurants. A 15 minute drive to the smaller resort & fishing village of El Cotillo, with its shallow lagoons, harbour & restaurants, and 10 minutes from La Oliva, with a bank & ATM, chemist and several shops, bars & café’s.
Further Details:
Tindaya village is just a 5 minute drive from the Vista Montaña, and has 2 supermarkets (one English owned & open 7 day a week), 3 bars and 1 restaurant.
