1. What is the check-in and checkout time?

– We’ll meet you at your chosen property to check-in any time after 2pm. We also provide early check-in or late checkout, without any extra cost, if there is availability. Give us a call an hour before your arrival to make sure that we can be waiting for you. The checkout time is 11:00am.

2. Are there any other additional expenses?

– There is an additional statutory charge of £70, which covers cleaning and administration, added to your total holiday stay. Other additional charges may apply if you require out of work hours check-in between 6pm and 9am (Monday to Friday), anytime during Saturday & Sunday, and Bank Holidays (£60). This is payable via the website.

We’re more than happy to source those little extras to make your stay more practical and comfortable. A baby chair or cot, for example, costs £30. We can add these to your total night’s stay price when you pay via the website.

3. Is there air-conditioning?

– No, there is no air-conditioning but if you’d like a fan for the apartment we’ll provide one at no additional charge.

4. What is the currency of the prices?

– All our prices are in Great British Pounds.

5. Do you provide an airport pick up service?

– At the moment we do not provide pick up services from the airport.

6. How do we get the key for the apartment?

– Once the booking is confirmed, we’ll send you everything you need and be waiting for you at an agreed time on the doorstep to your new pad with the keys.

7. What are the ways to make my payment?

– Via the website.

8. After the check out at 11:00am, is there a storage facility that we can use to store our luggage until our departure?

– No, unfortunately not. However, we suggest you use the storage facilities in Kings Cross St Pancreas Station. They’re a short distance from any of our properties, and provide a safe and inexpensive service.

9. Our arrival is very late in the evening / early in the morning / during the night – is this a problem?

– No, we’ll make sure there’s someone to meet you at the property when you arrive. Please note that for out of work hour's check-ins, when our office is closed, there is a charge of £60, which you can pay for on our website.

10. What if my arrival time has been delayed / changed?

– If your arrival time has changed, please just make sure you let us know via phone or email so we can be at the property at your new arrival time.

11. Do you provide bed linen and towels?

– Yes, we provide crisp fresh linens and fluffy towels – enough for the whole household.

12. Can I cook in the kitchen? Is it fully equipped?

– Yes, the kitchen is packed full of everything you need to cook up something wonderful. You’ll find a full set of cutlery, plates, glasses, cooking pans etc.

13. Is there a washing machine in the apartment?

– Yes, there is a washing machine in the apartment.

14. Is there parking space that comes with the apartment?

– No, the apartment doesn't come with a parking space.

15. What if there is an emergency during our stay?

– We’re going to provide you with a phone number that you can call 24/7 in case of an emergency.

Great location in central London

Overall, we were very pleased with the property. It was centrally located, within easy walking or public transportation distance of everything we wanted to do in London. But, because it was on a small side street, it was very quiet. It was also more spacious that we had anticipated. The bathrooms were updated and very nice for what we expected in London. Although we could see how the three stories could be a bother for some, it let our kids head to bed earlier than us and we did not have to worry about bothering them at all. There were a couple of issues. The living room, in particular the carpet, were a little tired and somewhat dirty feeling. Also, the TV in the living room was very limited in what it would receive and is pretty small (particularly compared to the TV in the bedroom). The dishwasher broke while we were there, so we had to deal with a plumber on several occasions coming to fix it (which did happen). Also, the refrigerator door was broken (it did not always seal) and this was not fixed during our stay. That being said, for a family of 4, it was a terrific spot and we will seriously consider it again if we return to London any time soon.

Great Location and lovely property!

We had two couples stay in this property for four nights. It was a perfect location for tourists, with many site walkable and two tube stops close by. The property manager was responsive. The bathrooms were clean and the linens were good quality. The only very minor complaint is the mattresses in both bedrooms left us all with a bit of a sore backs after four nights. For a weekend stay it would be perfectly fine.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat, such a perfect location for sightseeing and enough privacy and shared space for 4 adults.

Good location- needs a good cleaning

We liked the location of this apartment. The neighborhood is nice & quiet. There are a lot of good pubs and restaurants (we loved Bubbledogs around the corner). There is a grocery store close by and the underground is very close. Unfortunately, the apartment felt worn out and dirty. It definitely felt like a corporate rental rather then a home. The couches were stained and dingy. they need a good cleaning. We are a family of 5 , so we needed to use the pull out couch for one of our beds. The mattress on the pull out couch was really thin and uncomfortable. The bedding for it was piled on the closet floor (shouldn't it be on a shelf to keep it clean?) We each had one bath towel and one hand towel to use for an entire week. Yes, there is a washing machine, but we were gone most of the day and evenings and having to do laundry was not on our list to do. There is an ironing board, but no iron. The top floor shower barely drained, and would start to flood out unless we shut the water off throughout our shower. My husband plunged it & found a large bottle cap in the drain from the previous renters. However, it still didn't drain well. Also, there was a big mouse trap in the corner of the top bedroom floor, which was not what I wanted to see staying in that room. If this apartment just had a good cleaning, it would have been a much better stay.

Very good locaion

Pros: Good apartment at very good location, easy check in and check out.

Cons:

- 3 level apartment, each room on a different level - not very convenient if you have large suitcases.

- Washing machine at level 1 and dryer at the level 3

- Linen does not look very fresh

Great location, minor things

This location is great! There're are many restaurants and lots of breakfast/cafes downstairs. Every morning we get out of bed and walk 20 steps to sit down and enjoy breakfast & coffee at Reynolds, on the corner there's Tesco for groceries, t's close to shopping, etc.. 20 min. walk to West End for shows and dinner. Overall a great property.

We have 2 families(4 adults and 2 kids) traveling together and the 3 floors arrangement is perfect. But because the building is old, expect to hear upper floor people walking and moving things, etc. The kids stay on the main floor and we need extra linens for their sofa beds and found them in the 2nd floor closet, but they desperately need cleaning as you can see clear stains on them.. They end up using the extra sleeping bags which was fine.

Charming, clean, central

Scala street is a quiet street, but close to everything. British Museum, Oxford street or Soho only minutes away. Tesco and underground around the corner. Lot's of restaurants in the neighboring streets.

The apartment itself was spacious and modern, yet typical British. One room per floor. Really nice bedrooms.

I will give five stars, even though we couldn't find the iron and the Internet was on and off a bit. That can easily be fixed.

Ps. Visit the Toy Museum on the corner. Charming and not too crowded.
