About Juan Lorenzo
I am a 42 year old man, born in Paris, raised in France and Spain and now living in London. Been here 18 years. I have a degree in Architecture although I work as a tree surgeon in a property outside London and gardening/photography are my hobbies. I love travelling abroad when I can afford it and my preferences are the outdoors. Love climbing mountains/volcanoes, beaches and animals.
Juan Lorenzo purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Juan Lorenzo chose Central London
I thought it was a good investment since it is in the centre of London, has no flats above or below and has a lovely 60's look.
What makes this Apartment unique
It is strategically located in the heart of the City of London, very convenient for leisure or business travellers and has its own entrance and flight of stairs.
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
We loved everything about the area and the property. It was great for the two of us, my friend and I. We recommend this place. Thanks Juan.
Amen Lodge was perfectly appointed for our family of four. We stayed for more than a week and loved the location. Easy to access the tube, bus, hop-on-hop-off tours, and it was so wonderful to see St Paul’s every day. There are great little groceries nearby, and we really like Cafe Rogue for breakfast. We were very comfortable in the flat. Loved have a washing machine, though no dryer. Clothes air dried fairly quickly on provided drying racks. The paternoster square was fun seeing people coming from work and some tourists. They always had something going on in the square, like mini golf, or table tennis. It was a fun atmosphere. Juan was great about meeting us at the apartment and explaining the accommodations and location. Very easy and pleasant to work with. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
A great find in the heart of London.
We were very happy with this flat and we definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of London at a low price. The flat is just as described in the listing and the pictures are accurate to the detail. Juan (the owner) was charming and helpful in all aspects of the booking and stay. We strongly recommend this property. Thank you Juan. Nancy & Jeff.
Stylish flat in a fantastic location!
We had a wonderful stay at Juan's apartment in central London. The property is in the heart of London, just around the corner from St Paul's Cathedral. Amazing to find a property like this one and at this price. Juan was very helpful throughout the booking process and while we were in London (he lives 5 minutes walk from the flat, which is convenient). He is very sweet and professional, unlike others we have had to deal with. the place is just what we needed for us and it is well equipped and spotless. We slept very well every night as it is tucked away in a Cul-de-sac street. Lots of shops around, 3 supermarkets, bars and restaurants (a bit pricey but it is central London after all). Mc Donald's is around the corner too for those looking for quick cheap meals on the go.
We definitely recommend it to everyone. Thanks Juan. Florence and family.
Fabulous apartment, fabulous location.
Not only is the place itself clean and nice, the location fantastic. There is an afterwork "nite life" full of laughter very nearby, grocery, shops all around, as well as easy access to The Tube, the river, everything. Great place - all 'round top winner in my book. Recommend this to everyone!
Dear Sari, many thanks for your great review, it is very kind of you to take the trouble to write one. It was a pleasure to accommodate you both and I hope that your grand daughter had a wonderful stay in London, full of memories to take back home. And you too, of course. Once again, thank you for staying at my property and all the best for the future. Comeback anytime. With best wishes, Juan Lorenzo.
Lorenzo's St. Paul flat
We loved our stay at this convenient, quiet St. Paul's location. We enjoyed our daily walk across Parnoster Square to the convenient St. Paul's tube location. Lorenzo allowed us early access after an all night journey, allowing us to refresh ourselves. And promptly repaired a dead battery in a smoke detector that was "chirping" annoyingly. Nice, moderate sized 2 bedroom flat completely furnished with everything we required. We would stay there again.
Thank you very much Thomas for your kind review, I appreciate it. My apologies for the late response too as I have been very busy with my other job as a gardener and tree surgeon. I was very pleased to accommodate you both in my flat and the door is always welcome for you when you decide to comeback to London. All the best. take care, Juan Lorenzo.
The flat is located 1 minute walk from St Paul's Cathedral and about 20 minute walk to The Tower of London and Tower Bridge. It is also 5 minutes walk from Millennium Bridge for Tate Modern and 10 minute walk from Barbican Centre for Cinema, theatre, concert hall, public library and restaurants. You can walk to Covent Garden in 20 minutes or Soho in 30 minutes. You can alternatively take the underground and be there in 3 or 4 stops.
The flat is located 1 minute walk from St Paul's tube station (on the red line, the Central Line) that serves Liverpool Street Station for those travelling from/to Stansted Airport. It also serves Oxford Street, Bond Street and Shepherd's Bush for Westfield Shopping Centre (the biggest in Central London).
For those travelling from /to Gatwick/Luton Airport, the train will leave you 200 metres from the flat at City Thameslink Station in 45 minutes. For those travelling from/to Heathrow Airport, the tube will leave you 1 minutes walk from the flat in 55 minutes.
You can find an upmarket supermarket on the same street as the flat or an average but convenient supermarket 30 seconds walk from the flat in Paternoster Square. The area is full of trendy bars and restaurants, lots of pubs, 1 big shopping centre behind the Cathedral (One New Change) and many more local stores.
You can also walk in 30 seconds to the Tourist Information Centre located on the South Side of the Cathedral. There you can find quite a lot of information about London, what to do, where to go and how to get there. You will be staying in the heart of London, in The City, the financial District, next to St Paul's Cathedral and the London Stock Exchange. Dozens of buses serving the area to go anywhere in London from there.
