The flat has a contemporary look. It is spacious and with plenty of natural light. It is on a 1st floor which you can access through its own entrance, straight from the street without having to go through the main block. It is very private and quiet (great for sleeping).

The 2 bedrooms have a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers or shelves. They both have original artworks. They are at the back of the flat so you won't hear any street noises. They are ideal for 2 couples or 2 friends.

The bathroom is situated in-between the 2 bedrooms and is also contemporary in looks. It is well equipped with a set of 3 towels per guest, a hair dryer, shaving power point, large cabinet for all the toiletries and hooks on the wall to hang your individual towels.

The kitchen is simple but practical. It has a toaster, a kettle, a cafetiere and a "french press" style coffee maker, washing machine, microwave and conventional oven, fridge/freezer and enough utensils to prepare lovely meals. The window goes from wall to wall so you have plenty of daylight and you can see the top of the dome of St Paul's Cathedral while you do the washing-up.

The living-room is large and spacious. the south side has also a wall to wall window for lots of daylight (see pictures). Also original framed photographs. There is a TV, 2 sofas, a table for four and a shelving unit. It is connected to the kitchen with a 1960's cupboard with opening window in the centre. There is also an audio player with which you can connect your MP3 player or IPOD and listen to the radio. What else could I say? Look at the photos. A picture is worth a thousand words! ;o)

Comfortable Apartment in Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this apartment a few years ago with our young grand daughter and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We returned, along with our now teenage grand daughter, for ten nights. Our grand daughter was studying most of the time and would take a break and go down to the two close supermarkets or coffee shops or catch a bus to nearby shops. For her it was ideal.

The apartment is meticulously clean and has every thing needed to ensure a stay is very comfortable. The location is perfect with tube and bus stops within a minute and countless attractions within an easy stroll. Beds, linen and pillows were great and the kitchen and lounge area terrific in which to unwind after a long day. We were able to leave our bags for most of the day prior to travel to Heathrow. This was appreciated and perhaps indicates the little things that Juan is prepared to do to assist. He has added a few new appliances and furnishings in the time between our visits and has plans in the near future for an upgrade. It doesn't really need it as the flat is not looking tired but Juan takes pride in the apartment.

We have stayed at four other apartments in London over the years and usually visit three times a year. This apartment would be our first choice when we require accomodation for a longer period.

Owner's Response: Dear Brian, I trust you have reached the comfort of your home after such a long travel. Many thanks for taking the time to write such a great review about my property so soon after your holiday, I really apreciate it. It was a pleasure to have you both back in the flat and I am glad that the three of you enjoyed it, specially your granddaughter. You know you are welcome here any time provided that you book in advance as usual and remind me to give you a special rate next time by making an enquiry before reserving as a gesture of appreciation. Enjoy the south of France in July and I look forward to seeing you both next year if you come back. Many thanks once again and take care. With best wishes, Juan Lorenzo.

fantastic apartment and owner!!

  • 5 of 5

There were 3 of us and we all loved Juan's flat!!! It's a wonderful location, close to everything we wanted to see in London. Also close to lots of grocery stores, restaurants, a couple of different metro stations, a train station, etc. Walking distance to many theatres as well. Couldn't be more convenient. The flat itself was spotless and very comfortable We loved having the kitchen (stocked with everything you might need) to be able to make breakfast and snacks. My ONLY suggestion would be to put some safety bars up in the bathroom because the tub is a little hard to get in and out of. Juan was very easy to work with, super nice, and very trustworthy. I can't recommend this place strongly enough--it is top notch and when we go back to London, we will definitely stay here again.

Left us cold

  • 2 of 5

We were cold in late November. Only the living room had adequate heat. No heat in the kitchen or bathroom, and inadequate heat in the bedroom. The owner was not available to help us. He left the country the day we arrived, and so did his backup person, although he was available by email. The location is convenient and attractive, and in good weather this accommodation would be fine.

Owner's Response: I was sorry to find when I went to check out my guests that they had been too cold. When I greeted them on arrival I had left the two large radiators in the living room on a high setting (8) but they found it too warm and asked me to turn them down, which I did (to 3) showing them where the controls were so that they could adjust them again if they wished to. All the radiators in the flat are adequate, but particularly the two large ones in the living room (as can be seen on the photographs) are very powerful and can be regulated. It is bad luck that my guests should have suffered in silence as if they had e-mailed me even though I was abroad, I could have reminded them how to adjust the living room radiators which were still at 3 when I arrived for check out, and discovered for the first time that my guests had been cold. The facilities are there for one to use. If one doesn't know or doesn't remember how to use them, one should e-mail me and I will be more than happy to advise appropriately. Very simple. These guests are the only ones that have felt cold in my property (and could have been avoided) out of the 200 + bookings I have had since I started this business in 2014. This review says a lot about the guests that have left this unfair but legitimate review.

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was everything we expected. Juan was helpful and gave us great instructions. The location was perfect and we walked to just about everything on our list. If I am lucky enough to return to London, I would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasure hosting you and your friends and I would be delighted to welcoming you again in the future. All the best. Juan Lorenzo.

Wonderful location, sparkling clean!

  • 4 of 5

We spent 2 nights in this little gem of an apartment in the third week of September, perfectly situated for getting around the highlights of London town. A few steps to St Paul's Cathedral and lots of nice places to eat within easy walking distance. The apartment is sparkling clean, Juan is obviously very fastidious about maintaining it's high standard. Everything was perfect with the exception of the fact that the heat did not turn on during both nights of our stay and we were pretty cool in the evening and during the night. The bathtub is quite high sided and might be an issue for those with mobility restrictions. Otherwise, it's well equipped, the bedding was crisp and clean. Kudos to Juan for keeping it so spotless even though he has a number of guests moving through. Highly recommend this location.

Great location

  • 4 of 5

The apartment is very well equipped. More than enough cutlery etc in the kitchen. It was lovely hearing the chimes of St Paul's especially on Sunday. The apartment is close to Tube stations and there is a good bus service as well.

You can walk to Covent Garden in 20 minutes or Soho in 30 minutes. You can alternatively take the underground and be there in 3 or 4 stops.

The flat is located 1 minute walk from St Paul's tube station (on the red line, the Central Line) that serves Liverpool Street Station for those travelling from/to Stansted Airport.
