Newly furnished 3 bedroom town house located only 2 minutes walking distance to the centre of town with restaurants, bars, shops and the ferry to Tavira Island.
The balcony on the 2nd floor has a gorgeous view over Taviras' roof tops.
Plenty of free parking on street and good publick transports ( trains and busses («), for those who whish not to hire a car.
Casa Serviço can also arange for airport transfers.
This is a really lovely town house in the centre of Tavira. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be coming back.
Firstly the house; The property is on a quiet street in near to the centre of Tavira (literally a 2 minute walk). The house is well equipped with a washing machine, cooking facilities, fridge freezer, air con, Wi-Fi, cable TV, everything you need! The master bedroom has a lovely en-suite and has a large enough balcony to lay back the chairs and lounge in the sun. A nice point for us was the canopy you can extend over the balcony to enjoy a bit of shade and have a break from the sun.
Secondly the area; We visited Tavira in July and it was very vibrant. Lot's of people out, busy restaurants, people drinking at the bars, which was enjoyable for us. We caught the boat over to Tavira island to spend a few days on the beach which has a variety of restaurants and activities to do. Everything you need is accessible by foot including the office that lets the house which is down the bottom of the road the house is on, which was handy if we needed any information or help.
If staying in Tavira I would defiantly recommend this place as it is centrally located, great value for money and is equipped with everything you need. We will certainly be returning again soon!

Just 30 minutes from Faro airport, Tavira is the perfect location for a family holiday. We stayed at Casa 12 in Tavira Town with our family for a week in August 2015. The charming property was bright and clean and well equipped for our stay. The beds were very comfortable which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Each room has its own individual air conditioning system which we needed as the temperatures were high. The washing machine came in handy as well.
The owners have decorated the property beautifully and it really feels like a home from home. Should you fancy a night in, there is a large variety of DVDs, and the property also has WIFI. If you are lucky enough to have the bedroom at the top of the house, you will have the added bonus of a large ensuite with a whirlpool bath with shower over. You will also get to lounge on the fabulous balcony and watch the world go by.
The host, Emma, was very helpful and provided us with information on the local areas and was very flexible with our arrival and departure times, which we were very grateful for. There is a local supermarket which takes about three minutes to walk to, and there you will find everything you will need.
Our favourite thing to do was catch a taxi boat to one of the neighbouring beaches. Our favourite was Cabanas Beach, slightly further out than Tavira Island, but the ride in the speed boat was exhilarating and added to the charm of our day out. The beach is big and clean and has a fabulous beach bar, with the best gin and tonic selection. Tavira Island is also worth a visit as there is a large variety or restaurants that sell the most delicious fresh fish. There are also loads of water sports activities, including inflatables in the sea.
Tavira Town is vibrant and has a fabulous atmosphere. It comes alive in the evening. There are many restaurants to choose from, although you will need at least two weeks to work your way through them all. The owners have kindly left a book with details of places that you must try, we managed to see most of them in our time in Tavira. We also had a ride in a tuk tuk which is a must. Antonio was great fun and took us to areas that we would not have seen otherwise, so well worth the 20 Euros for three of us. The ride took almost an hour in total.

If you are looking for a charming place to stay that is well equipped for all your needs, Casa 12 is the place. Enjoy it. We certainly did.
The house is spacious and very well equipped and decorated. In a quiet street with ample parking and within easy reach of the Town centre. Wifi is excellent and very satisfactory cable TV service. Top notch all round and excellent service from Emma in Casaservico the letting agent - based very close to the house and always on hand to deal with any problem. I had no problem at all with the house but had to call on her when my travelling companion became very ill and had to be taken to hospital. It was a great comfort to have Emma on hand and she was a great help and support. I strongly recommend the property and hope to stay there again.
Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr schön und liegt sehr zentral in Tavira, jedoch um sich richtig wohl zu fühlen könnte doch noch einiges getan werden. So fehlt es an guter Beleuchtung, so ist es kaum möglich abends zu lesen, die Lampen sehen zwar nett aus aber geben nicht genug Licht außerdem sind sie nicht an den richtigen Stellen. Des weiteren könnte mehr Geschirr vorhanden sein, wir waren zu viert, wenn aber sechs Personen da sind wird es schnell knapp. Auch an Töpfen und Pfannen fehlt es, das was da ist ist leider Schrott. Wir hatten die Wohnung auch gemietet, weil sie mit Heizung angeboten wird und wir jetzt im Februar doch sehr kühles Wetter hatten, geheizt kann mit der Klimaanlage werden, die es keineswegs schafft auch nur annähernd angenehme Temperaturen zu schaffen, außerdem ist dann die Stromanlage überlastet, so dass es nicht möglich ist z. B. die Kaffeemaschine, den Backofen und noch eine Herdplatte in Betrieb zu nehmen, dann knallt immer die Zentralsicherung raus. Schade das alles, es könnte eine total tolle Destination sein.
