Cute older home
There were only a few quirky things about the house. The only shower is in between two bedrooms, and the small bathroom didn’t have any plug ins for hair dryer/straightener. We loved the hardwood floors, and the kitchen is beautiful. I also appreciated the little toys for the baby. Our Uber drivers kept telling us it was an unsafe area, although we never felt unsafe.
Even though we have lots of family in the area we chose to rent Tina‘s home so that we could be closer to an event we were attending. Tina was very quick to respond with any questions or concerns that we might have had. We were so glad to see that she added a microwave because a previous review said there was not one. Tina’s home has 2 king size beds Plus a full-size in the third bedroom. Most homes we researched only had queen size beds to offer which does not work when your husband is 6‘4“ tall. All the rooms were spacious, and the Kitchen was ideal for meal prep in a hurry, which we were every day. Very quiet location.
Love the character
We enjoyed our stay in the Dallas Area. The house was so charming. Lots of character and everything we needed for our stay. Tina was very kind and accommodating. It worked well for our family of 6. We recommend staying here.
Great place to stay
I had a great stay and experience. I had 6 people in my group which worked out great. The house had three bedrooms so each couple had their own room. The house was clean and spacious. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and was easy to get to from the highway.
The neighborhood was not what we’re expecting but the house is super cute and cozy.
My friends and I enjoyed our weekend at Tina’s. We were able to get to dinner in the Bishop Arts district easily. Tina was a great host and very quick with her responses with questions we had.
Clean and looks just like the pictures
The area the home is located in seemed a bit questionable(as in safety) but it was quite for the most part. The house is very nicely laid out. There were a few disappointing things about the property though, 1. Since we came in the winter time the home in certain bedrooms doesn’t get warm which left our kids a little cold, 2. Since we have little ones and they need a bath there was no stopper for the tub and I was told I would need to get one, 3. There is no microwave or washer and dryer in case you wanted to use that(you don’t think about it until you need it), 4. The house is for sale which concerns me as a realtor myself and I know that buyers can be “curious” and start looking around the home. The price was low which was nice but it lacked a few things .
minutes from Bishop Arts District- shops/bars/Kessler theater/Texas Theatre/pie emporium is a must. brochures on site.
Dallas Baptist University is only 7miles from the house.
