After traveling around the world and discovering thirty countries and cultures, I am happy to be settling back into my hometown of Omaha. I love connecting with new people and enjoy creating the best experience for every person visiting Omaha. I have had unforgettable stays with gracious hosts across the world and am grateful for the opportunity to pass the kindness on. Whether you're looking for a relaxing, quiet night in, want to see the best sites in Omaha, or need suggestions for a fun night out on the town- I'm happy to help accommodate. A few fun things about me: -I spent the last six months traveling Africa where I worked with lions and monkeys, camped in the Serengeti, and rafted the Nile River. -I was born and raised in the Omaha metro area. I still believe Midwesterners are some of the nicest people in the world. -I lived in Portland, Oregon for a couple years and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. -My first jobs in high school were working at the (world famous) Henry Doorly Zoo and College World Series. I highly recommend both to anyone visiting Omaha. -I have lived in Australia, Taiwan, and South Africa -My travel style is solo backpacking- where I travel by plane, train, bus, motorcycle, or hitchhike and sleep in hostels with other travelers around the world. Yes- girls can travel the world :) I am excited to welcome you into my home. Please let me know how I can make your stay wonderful.

I really hate giving a wonderful review only because I want to be sure to be able to stay whenever we want but, here it is.
First of all let me say if you're looking for high end glam with central air and a huge kitchen this is not the place for you. However, if cozy furnishings, fresh linens and clean atmosphere is your cup of tea then this is the place. This apartment is located on a quiet street but literally only a block from great restaurants, bars and plenty of outside public places, it was perfect for us upper middle agers. [Speaking of age, there is a series of stairs to the front door of the building but the handrails are sturdy and the steps easy.] The only time we drove was to go to the zoo and to visit in Council Bluffs. Otherwise we simply walked to meals, shopping and movies.
Also, the other tenants who live in the building were pleasant and though we were aware of people coming and going we truly only heard sounds normal to apartment living, in fact maybe even quieter than expected.
Lastly, there was a slight mix up about the key code but a quick phone call resolved everything.
Thank you so much Amber. Already planning our next trip.
LOVE this location
This property has the perfect location for young adults looking for some getaway fun in Omaha!!
This place is a couple of blocks away from some really cool restaurants and bars, and a movie theater! There was also a rad little board game/coffee cafe about a block away.
The apartment itself is a cozy space. It smelled terrific everytime we walked in the door. We did have some problems with check in because we were given the wrong door code, but they got it worked out for us in about 15 minutes.
I think staying in this location is absolutely perfect for just my husband and myself. On this trip, however, we did bring 2 friends with us. The only issue I had with this is that the bathroom is located inside the bedroom, so I could hear my friends getting up to go to the bathroom in the night. Also, we could never get the bathroom door to stay shut, which makes things a bit uncomfortable if you're staying with friends.
One night we stayed, the neighbors were a bit loud going up and down the apartment stairs. But these are just very minor complaints.
Overall, I would totally stay here again because this location is just so awesome and a great price. I loved it. Owner was super kind and helpful.
We were very appreciative that you got the heating problem fixed promptly for us. Thank you.
It was a pleasure having you! We'd love to welcome you back to Omaha any time!
Cute cozy little place
I was looking for a small apartment fairly close to the Old Market, and this place fit the bill. A nice little place with thoughtful details like breakfast options and magazines. I loved hearing the church bells nearby. I actually walked down to the Old Market, but it was kind of a stretch! Thanks Amber for good communication and a warm cozy place to stay!
Hey Meg. It was such a pleasure to host you during your visit in Omaha. Thanks for the compliments. We would love to welcome you back any time!
