Why Owner chose Wingina
The owner was attracted to this property the most because of the hilltop elevation, overlooking the train tracks and James River. The peace and quiet away from the city. The unique wildlife and interesting plants and trees that surrounded the property. Star gazing was a big highlight as well.
What makes this House unique
Star gazing is suppose to be one of the best spots in Virginia. This was formerly an Indian Native American Village, making it not unusual to find beautiful artifacts from that find. Turkey, Beaver, Bear, Deer, Bobcats, Phesants, Foxes are some of the wildlife!

A Nice Place To Get Away From It All
Our group had a nice week in the beautiful and secluded property. The weather was perfect for the pool which was great and the house has lots of character.
There was a couple of minor glitches but nothing that would keep us from coming back again.
Absolutely gorgeous spot! Private and expansive, the property is one of a kind and the perfect place to retreat from the world. The house is stunning. We had a wonderful time celebrating our friends 40th birthday and are all talking of returning here for another vacay!
Beautiful rural Virginia
A beautiful setting with amazing birds and awesome fireflies. Interior had lovely "old world" features including lovely stained glass. The number of bedrooms worked well for our group of friends who were attending a wedding in the area. Only negative was four bedrooms sharing a bathroom.
