About Victor or Sally

We (Sally and Victor) have been happily married for 27 years and have 2 wonderful children and 4 fabulous grandchildren. Victor recently retired after a 30 year law enforcement/counterterrorism career. Sally spent her career in the restaurant biz and also recently retired. Our son is a SGT in the US Army and our daughter is a housemaker and Mommy. Grandkids are all little.

Victor or Sally purchased this cottage in 2002

Why Victor or Sally chose Ferrisburgh

Sally is from the same area and a true Vermonter. Victor first visited Vermont in 1986 and fell in love with the area immediately. The people are so friendly, life is slower, and the scenery is absolutely stunning.

What makes this cottage unique

Even though cottage is typically the least expensive vacation rental lake property in the area, it offers the same amenities, comfort, and lake access of much more expensive cottages.

Wonderful, relaxing, great location and very comfortable .

  • 5 of 5

We loved our 10 day stay at Casa Lago. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make it feel like home. Location is great, steps away from Lake Champlain and close to hiking and nature walks. We went out canoeing every morning and the fishing is really good. Had several outstanding meals at nearby restaurants. The neighbors on Long Point were very friendly and our dog met new friends, too. We hope to go back next year!!

Clean, modern, private. We used this cabin as a base for many miles of the most wonderful road biking. Would rent again!

We had a great relaxing week at the cottage this past week. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and extremely relaxing. We enjoyed being so close to the lake and being in awe of the amazing views. Plus it was very convient and quick trip into Burlington for a great meal and some awesome craft brews! It was the perfect way to end our summer and celebrate a birthday, we are already planning our trip back next year! Thank you for having us.

We loved our stay at Casa Lago a few weeks ago. The location was great with close proximity to the lake. The newly renovated cottage met all of our needs and was very tidy and comfy. The owners were very friendly, responsive, and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend a visit to Casa Lago!
