Hello, I am an architect and I teach in a School of Architecture in Paris. I like to draw, to read and I love photography. It will be a pleasure to have you as a guest in my house.
Owner purchased this House in 2015
Why Owner chose Sancerre
I love Sancerre for its site, the village, its old houses and, of course for its famous wine. But also, the kindness of people that lives there.
What makes this House unique
Walking in the village or around it. The traditional architecture is very beautiful, the streets surprises on each corner, the views are beautiful. By car, you can go to the vineyeards and to some historical towns such as La Charité-sur-Loire, Bourges. It's not far from the Loire Castles and the village of Vezelay. If you like golf, it's a beautiful course, and if you like nature, there's the Loire natural parc, very well preserved natural parc.

Marco is a wonderful host and the house is beautiful. It is equipped with basic needs. The view from the main bedroom is wonderful. The street is charming. We stayed for three weeks (studying French) and it was a pure joy. Marco is responsive and helpful and the home was perfect.
Thank you Stephen and Lara for this comments! It's so nice to read it. It encourages me to make some more improvements in it. I wish we could meet and talk more the next time you'll come to France. Best wishes for the future!
Sancerre is a medieval village known for its wine. There are excellent white, red and rosé wines. The most common grape is Sauvignon Blanc (white wine) and Pinot Noir (red wine and rosé).
