This is a comfortable condo equipped with WIFI, INTERNET, new flooring (installed June '18), newly painted walls, contemporary kitchen furniture, and a 27-inch television. The kitchen has been includes marble counter-tops, new flooring and an automatic dishwasher. The master bedroom is beautifully decorated and includes a spacious closet. A rear sleeping area including 1 twin sized bed. It is also equipped with a washer/dryer.

This condo offers convenient, no hassle parking. Just click on your skis/snowboard in the winter or put on your mountain ware during the summer and you're ready for a full day of fun and adventure.

Hunter Mountain has 240 acres of pristine terrain with magnificent slopes, spectacular scenery and world-class amenities. Mother nature covers the area with 125' of snow every year which allows for great ski conditions through April. This area has majestic natural beauty and stunning landscape for hiking, cross-country skiing, ice climbing and snowshoeing.

Dining: Relax at one of Hunter Mountain and the Kaatskill Mountain Club's 12 slopeside eateries, serving superb cuisine, healthy salads, soups and sandwiches. The surrounding community offers an even wider selection of dining options at elegant dining rooms, charming pubs and casual restaurants. About Beverly Collins

I grew up in Galveston, Texas and i was raised by Harvie and Veada Collins. They were married for over 60 years. My dad is a retired longshoreman with a 3rd grade education and my mom cleaned houses and watched children of doctors at a local hospital.

I have a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania; first college graduate in my family. I have six brothers and sisters who are happy and living well. We have helped our parents to travel all over the world and it did not cost them one cent. They have truly received a healthy portion in return for the love they gave us.

I bought this condo from my sister who has been coming to Hunter for many years. It is only 30 feet from the closest ski slope. I visited Hunter Mountain and fell in love with it because it is so peaceful and refreshing. The people you meet are excellent.

Hunter Mountain is located just over 2 hours north of New York City in the northern Catskill Mountains of New York State. Whether you are coming from the north or the south, Hunter is a convenient half-hour ride from New York State Thruway exits 20 or 21.

Please obey the posted speed limit signs while on the mountaintop. Local law enforcement agencies strictly enforce the posted speed limits.

For those without transportation, there are several Bus Tour Operators that bring regularly scheduled trips to Hunter, as well as Adirondack Trailways, which offers daily trips from Port Authority, NYC to Hunter.

Albany - Est. Time: 1 Hour 10 Minutes NY Thruway south to Exit 21 (Catskill), turn left after exit and go to Rt. 9W (about 2 miles); take Rt. 9W south to Rt. 23A; take Rt. 23A west to Hunter Mountain.

- Binghamton - Est. Time: 2½ Hours

Interstate 88 east to Oneonta. Pick up Rt. 23 east to Rt. 23A to Hunter.

- New York City - Est. Time: 2½ Hours.

NY Thruway (I-87) north to Exit 20 (Saugerties). Take Rt. 32 north to Rt. 32A north to Rt. 23A west.

- Long Island - Est. Time: 2½-5 Hours.

Take the LIE or Rt. 25A to the Cross Island Parkway to the Throgs Neck Bridge. Then take the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95) to the George Washington Bridge. Take the GW Bridge to Route 4 (3rd exit ramp). Continue on Rt. 4 heading northwest to Rt. 17. Take Rt. 17 north to the NY Thruway, north to Exit 20 (Saugerties). I just stayed there for Thanksgiving day weekend it was great!!! It was very nice great location very clean a true gem! Me party really enjoyed ourselves want to go again!!!!

Great little place!

Great location. Nice, clean, comfortable condo. Cable, internet and all the amenities needed. Could not log onto the internet so I messaged the owner. Immediately replied, then called to make sure everything was ok. Nice master bedroom. Small "back sleeping area" with twin bed, but that is all we needed. Sectional sofa with full size pull out bed in living room. Perfect for our weekend stay. Will book again. Thanks

Great trailside condo!

Perfect condo steps away from trail. Ski down to lift, morning runs, ski back for Lunch, & repeat. No need to drive anywhere.

STINKS like MOLD, Missing Bed, No Deadbolt & No WIFI

When I arrived at the Condo there was no key in the lock-box, which was resolved in about an hour. The deadbolt on the front door was also broken which means that someone can easily break into the Condo. I was also never provided any WIFI details, typically there is a sheet which lets you know the network and password in a rental. I was then provided a password by the owner which did not work for ANY available WIFI network - This caused me to give up and use my cell phone as a hot spot. The listing stated that there was an "additional bed in the back", when I got to the condo I was informed by the owner they were sorry but they were doing renovations and there was no longer a bed in the back. The property should be listed as sleeps 4, with 2 in the master and 2 on a pull out. The final issue I had with the property is that it STINKS like Mold/Mildew throughout, all of the blankets/pillows in the closet had us sneezing. This caused us to spend most of our time out of the property. When I contacted the owner about the WIFI they simply told me the password was correct and didn't respond to follow up questions about it not working. I contacted the owner before writing this review with hopes that they would correct the issues and provide some compensation for such a terrible stay at the property and they responded by telling me they won't be threatened. The rental is cheap and you get what you pay for, but unless you are 21 just looking to party I wouldn't recommend the property to anyone.

Owner's Response: Let me respond point by point: -Yes, the key was not in the keybox upon arrival. I have just finished major renovations in the condo the day before she arrived and the contractor accidentally took the key with him. -I immediately spoke with the current winter season occupants of the condo who have stated several times that the condo does not stink like mold. I offered to place a dehumidifier in the condo and my offer has been declined. they are truly enjoying their stay which will last through March '18. -As the owner, I had no control of the Wifi. Hunter Highlands controlled the Wifi. I called the manager who confirmed the code that I shared was the correct code. As a result of this incident (which was the first of it's kind in 8 years) I have contacted My Spectrum Wifi and I now have full control of the Wifi at my condo. The additional monthly cost is well worth it to make my guests happy. -On the rare occasion that a guest is not satisfied, I have offered everything from free future stays to a total refund. However, this quest made a threat to me and stated that if I did not compensate her, that she would submit a negative review. This was very offensive and I suggested that she move forward with her negative review and that I would submit a respectful response. I'm from Texas and Texans do not tolerated threats of any kind. It is unfortunate this guest was not happy with her stay. I would encourage future guest to consider my response and to review the 'full-body' of work that has been done to ensure a satisfactory stay at my condo over the past 8 years.

Hunter mountain is an excellent 'get away' location for couples, families, skiers and non-skiers. Hunter mountain is New York's premier winter resort, with luxury mountainside accommodations, sparkling terrain and some of the best snow conditions on the east coast. It is also the largest ski slope closest to New York City. The area also includes downhill and cross-country skiing, ice climbing, snow boarding and other winter activities.

Grand Resorts Casino is open in Albany, NY which is only 30 miles away from the condo.

There are Summer attractions that include a natural lake with life guards, tennis, horseback riding, fishing, boating, biking, antiquing, shopping, house touring, and golfing. You can also just relax year-round. A big attraction is the people you meet during your stay. Many will become new friends and associates. The people are warm and friendly.

Other Activities: Snow boarding, snow tubing, hiking, horseback riding, great parties and fun people.
