Situated in a quiet residential area in the Valle Hermosa (the beautiful valley) but only 3km from the quaint typically Spanish towns of Coin and Alhaurin El Grande. This is a well maintained, pretty villa with private pool and gardens. There are 3 double bedrooms and 2 shower rooms, one of which is suitable for wheelchairs. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen plus living/dining area with a wood burning stove for the cooler months. There is also full air-conditioning, providing providing heating or cooling as necessary. The garden room has a full kitchen including dishwasher and barbecue, with loads of space for dining and relaxing with a second TV. The pretty garden has an area of lawn plus a pool-side sunbathing terrace. There is ample space outside dining in the shade when necessary. Plenty of off street parking and the walled grounds are completely secure with electric gates. In about 10 minutes walk away on a country lane are two excellent bar/restaurants.

As the villa has its own private pool, gardens and barbecue area, it is ideally suited for a family with children or mixed age groups. Ideally placed to use the nearby local golf courses - such as Alhaurin Golf and Lauro Golf - and centrally situated for touring. The coastal resorts of Fuengirola and Marbella are 20 and 30 minutes away and Malaga airport is 30 minutes. Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada are about a two and a half hour drive as are the skiing resorts of the Sierra Nevadas. Supermarkets and shops are all within a short drive/bus trip as are many more bars and restaurants.

Wheelchair friendly: One of the shower rooms has been specially designed to suit wheelchair users, and access all around the property is on the flat or with ramps. A satellite tv system is installed giving main UK stations, free-to-view and also Spanish TV. There is good wheelchair access and one of the shower rooms is specially adapted. Smoking is only permitted outside the main house.

Downside is there are no restaurants within walking distance now . The one at the edge of the urbanisation has closed and the next one is a 10 or 15 minute walk along a main road which is unlit with no pavement, far too dangerous to get to realistically. Coin has a variety of restaurants but you have to drive . We booked because we thought we were in walking distance of bars and restaurants plus of course because the villa is lovely.

Malaga airport (35 minutes' drive away) or Jerez (2.5hrs), Granada (1.75hrs) or Gibraltar (2hrs). The villa is less than 5 minutes' walk along a quiet country lane to an excellent restaurant and 10minutes to two other bar/restaurants, and shops etc. are just 3km away in either Coín or Alhaurin el Grande. Although only 20 minutes to a selection of beaches, this is still regarded as inland Costa del Sol, with all the benefits of the real Spain. As well as the many supermarkets, bars and restaurants in and around the local towns, regular local festivals and weekly markets bring their church squares and narrow whitewashed streets to life. A car is recommended, although there is a regular local bus service. Please contact us for recommended car hire companies.


Golf: The nearest golf courses are Alhaurin Golf and Lauro Golf, both within 15 mins drive. There are literally dozens of other golf courses within 30 mins to one hour's drive, to suit all standards.
