Cosy House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4. Close to River Cottage and beach.

Lovely 2 Bedroom Cottage Walking Distance from Station + River Cottage Canteen. If you're coming for a River Cottage course we are happy to have you for a 3 night minimum stay. A cosy cottage for Christmas with the wood burner and good DVDs.

The cottage is recently renovated bringing a modern and homely feel to the 1820s cottage. It is walking distance from the train station, to the River Cottage Canteen and sits in the town. A short drive or taxi ride will have you in some of the most beautiful scenery on the Jurassic Coast and you will not be short of country towns, local pubs and markets to visit. There is a TV and good collection of DVDs, if you don't find one you fancy there is a great rental place in town. As you will see, this place is a little gem and and feels just like a home with a little bit of fancy hotel thrown in for good measure. Wifi, dish washer, clothes washer.

About Kristin Cross

We live in London and own an architecture practice there spending the odd weekend in Devon. We designed the River Cottage Headquarters 3 miles from our house so we hope you take in a cookery class or evening event there.

Why Kristin Cross chose Axminster

We bought the house when we started working on River Cottage as we were spending so much time in Devon. . We are their architects. It is now a second home for us.

What makes this house unique

We love the fact that the cottage is cosy and easily accessible to so many things in the area. Our favourite time to come is in the winter when we can crank up the wood burner and put on a good movie.

Time spent here was great a nice little cosy place to stay for a week, and Kristen cross was s I per helpful when something went wrong, got help straight away that I think was brilliant.

Had a small garden that was cute to where it was located.

Location was in the heart of Axminster and 5 minutes from the train station that was even better and just a walks down the road to the nearest pub and restaurants.

There is plenty to do round here and being where we was it was easy to find where to go and such.

Overall it was a great time.

Key safe on wall beside garage , number of safe is 1022.

Musbury Road

Axminster EX13 5JE

Pennys Terrace is NOT the name of the road it is confusingly the name of the group of 7 houses. The house is on Musbury Road.

From the centre of town, take South Street heading South (this turns into Musbury Road once you pass Complete Meats with the green awning and Silver Street on your right). At this point the road starts going downhill and on the left there is a stone terrace with 7 houses in it. Ours is number 3 in this terrace, brown door.

When you leave, just lock the door and put the key through the letter box.
