Great stay - excellent host!
Many thanks Amites. It was a great pleasure to welcome you back to Northcroft. Your repeat business is massively appreciated. Do keep in contact! Best wishes, Richard
Excellent family flat
Wonder property and smart location near tube station. Grocery stores near by and a top notch owner to deal with. Highly recommendable from our Canadian family of 5.
Many thanks indeed. It was a pleasure to meet such a nice family and host your stay. I am pleased it all worked out for such a long stay. Always welcome back!
Northfields property was as listed. Great location, easy to have a car to see the countryside, and handy access to get into town by underground. Richard was great to work with and met the needs of our family. Walking distance a a large grocery store was very handy for packing lunch or having dinner at the house when necessary.
Many thanks for your kind review Brian. It was a pleasure to host your stay and to meet you and your family. Best wishes, Richard
Richard was very good to work with. He was very willing to answer any questions and had very good response time. I appreciated his patience and willingness to work through and resolve very quickly something that came up through VRBO. He was there to greet us when we arrived. The place was perfect for our stay. He had everything we needed for the kitchen, the living room (TV), and the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen and living room were very spacious and a great place to come back to in the evenings. The location is a little further out, but is on the Piccadilly line and was not a far walk at all This made it extremely easy to get to Heathrow. .We also took a day trip out to Oxford and that was easy to do from this location as well. We had a very nice stay and would absolutely do this again.
Many thanks for your review Kris. Greatly appreciated. It was indeed a pleasure to welcome you and I am so pleased that all was to your satisfaction. Ealing is about 20 mins from central London, quieter, more typically London, very safe and family-orientated. And as you say, it's nice to return to at the end of a busy day. Many thanks and hope we will see you again. Richard
Clean and cozy. Great location near to shops and tube. Only 30 mins into central London from house.
Richard is a great host and the house suited our needs perfectly. Many thanks.
Many thanks Ed. It was a pleasure to host you. Hopefully see you again next time. Very best. Richard
A wonderful location for visiting England and Wales
Richard's Ealing home was perfect for our group of 4 (married couple plus 2 sisters). The house was sparkling clean, roomy, and in a perfect location for our visit, which included day trips by train into London and extended drives to Wales locations. We rented a car and parked it easily on the street near the house while we took the train into the city. The train station is an easy 7 minute walk and the surrounding neighborhood is very family oriented and friendly. Richard provided everything we needed, even a hair dryer and extra power adapters for those of us who forgot ours at home! The bathroom is tiny...no surprise to us since this is common in Europe, but others may want to know this ahead of time. Overall, our stay was spectacular - enough room for everyone to have their own space at the end of tiring days and a cozy living room within which we could discuss the day's adventures together. Thanks for everything, Richard. On our next trip to England, we will surely stay with you again!
Many thanks indeed, Karen, for your great review and I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. The house does offer excellent location whether going into town or hiring a car for day trips. And ideal place to re-charge ready for the next day. The bathroom is small by more modern apartment standards. We did consider extending, but it would have taken space from the bedrooms, so decided to remain true to Edwardian architecture. :-) But your point is certainly worth noting, so thank you.
Suburban London Ealing allows you to live like a local. Safe and friendly with a very relaxed atmosphere.
