Two en-suite bedrooms are located on the ground and first floors. The second floor living area includes open plan kitchen-diner-lounge; whilst a south facing roof terrace is ideal for al fresco dining on the warm Mediterranean evenings. Facilities include air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living area, TV with UK satellite channels (FreeSat) and French channels via broadband, DVD player, wireless Internet access and washing machine. In the ground floor lobby area there are two bicycles that may be used by the tenant. Marseillan has over 20 great restaurants and bars. Nearby family friendly beaches are located at Marseillan Plage and Plage Robinson within a short drive or bicycle ride.

About Anders Palmberg
We are a Swedish couple from the Stockholm area, who have been enjoying vacations in the south of France for some years. In 2014 we decided to get our own house in France as a holiday resort for us and our children.

We looked at many places, but decided on Marseillan, because it is close to the sea, and within cycling distances to beaches. At the same time, Marseillan is very picturesque with its old town centre and the nice port, that houses many restaurants. Also, the property is nicely renovated, large enough to house the whole family and has a lovely roof terrace, which was a must.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable first visit to Marseillan. David was incredibly helpful throughout, his house is spotlessly clean, wonderfully well equipped, and ideally located for very easy acces to all the facilities that Marseillan has to offer. It also proved to be the ideal base to enjoy a very French holiday in an unspoilt French town. Wonderful !!
Lovely town house
We had a great week. The flat is very cosy and well equipped and we really liked the roof terrace. We would love to visit again before too long.
Very comfortable, and very conveniently located to explore Marseillan
The house was just as good as we remembered it from our initial stay back in 2010. Inside it is very clean, tidy and comfortable, with excellent facilities in the kitchen, living room and bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable, with excellent bed linen.
The house is very centrally located, allowing quick and easy access to the town centre, and only a short stroll to the harbour area for eating, drinking and people-watching...perfect!!
Lovely village house full of character with comfortable modern amenities
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely character property. The photos and descriptions on the website accurately portray the accommodation and the range of modern fixtures and fittings. The house has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space and it has been fitted with good quality modern fixtures and fittings. We were very comfortable throughout our 2 weeks and particularly enjoyed the lovely roof terrace with its views across the village rooftops. This is a nice quiet location but you are only a few moments walk away from the centre of Marseillan with its good range of shops, bakers and bars. And only a few moments further on and you are down at the picturesque port with tis bustling bars and restaurants. We have stayed at several different houses in Marseillan but this has been the best one so far. The owner was helpful and easy to deal with and the house was immaculately clean when we arrived. Thoroughly recommended.
Absolutely beautiful house in a wonderful unspoilt French town
The property is centrally located in Marseillan Ville and easy to get to by bus. The property provides everything you need and more for a wonderful vacation. The kitchen is modern, clean and fully equipped. The owners kindly allow you to use their beach equipment and 2 bicycles. Air-conditioning on each level makes it very pleasant during the hot summer months. The house is spacious and allows plenty of privacy with bedrooms on separate levels. There are UK plug sockets throughout the house which saves lots of bother finding the adapters. The house was immaculately clean on arrival. We have stayed in many properties in France and Spain and this one of the best. The rooftop terrace is lovely, once the sun has set to have a drink and watch the swallows. The local "Delicatessen" restaurant is worth a visit and the Noilly Prat bar is a must for a cocktail. We also recommend the Hotel Richmont at Marseillan Plage for fresh local seafood dishes.

This renovated townhouse is located a short walk from the centre of the petite 17th Century port of Marseillan on the Languedoc coast, next to the Mediterranean lagoon of the Étang de Thau. Relax in thriving restaurants and cafés next to the marina, watch the visiting canal cruisers from the Canal du Midi or novices at the bateau-école, enjoy the famed local shellfish and gaze at the views across the étang to the hillside rooftops of Sète. While for those wanting sand in their shoes some of the best beaches on the Mediterranean are a couple of miles away. Access to Marseillan is within easy reach of FIVE airports served by low cost flights from the UK, and by rail link from UK stations to Agde, just 10 minutes from the village. For those who enjoy French roads it is within a day’s drive from Northern French ports. To the west is Carcassonne and to the east is Montpellier, both 30-40 mins drive. While the old towns of Agde, Pezenas, Florensac and Mèze are an easy bike ride away.
