The Garden Cottage is a modern, open plan cottage set in the affluent and desirable area of Branksome Park, Poole. The cottage is recently converted and offers all the expected mod cons and luxurious touches associated from a Boutique retreat. With 2 bedrooms and flexible sleeping arrangement it offers excellent family or friends orientated accommodation.

The cottage is approached along a quiet and secluded residential street. Parking is available for 2 cars on the driveway and there is plenty of on-street parking. Upon entering the property you are greeted with an exceptionally bright, vaulted open plan living space. The cozy lounge area includes a large comfy sofa with flat screen TV, HI-Fi, WIFI and log burning stove. If required the sofa can be opened into double bed. The kitchen contains all new, modern appliances including an oven, electric hobs, dishwasher, nespresso machine and microwave. A basic welcoming kit is provided on arriving. Plenty of storage is available and includes an integrated fridge and freezer. The dinning table can comfortably seat 6 persons. Large patio doors give access to the secluded and peaceful garden. Outdoor seating and dinning options are provided on the main patio and deck area.

Climbing a few stairs leads to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom next to the family toilet, shower room and separate laundry. The light and airy master bedroom contains a king size bed, wardrobe and draw spaces and flatscreen TV. Connected is the en-suite with bath / shower, toilet and sink with vanity mirror. The second bedroom contains a double bed which can be separated into 2 singles as required. High quality linings and towels are provided. All bedding and towels are changed every 7 days.

The cottage is only a 15 minute walk from either the centre of Westbourne and all the trendy shops, bars and restaurants that it has to offers or beach access through Branksome Chine. Further afield there is easy access onto the A35 or A338 which will take you into Poole Quay or the Bournemouth town centre respectively.

Everyone loves the open plan nature of the property with the vaulted ceilings. During the summer months you can enjoy the peaceful garden and nearby beach, whilst in the Winter you can just relax and curl up in front of the log burning stove and watch a movie.

Great location, lovely house, almost too nice! Kids loved it and its proximity to the beach. Ashley was very welcoming and far from intrusive. And very helpful when she had realised we'd left a full back pack!

Great accommodation

On arrival at the property we were greeted by Ashley the home owner, She kindly showed us around the house, The house was great and in an ideal location for our weekend break. The attention to detail in the property was exceptional and the quality of the fixtures and fittings was top class. The house was very comfortable and ideal for us. I would recommend this property to anyone, we certainly will be going back again.

A wonderful week away.

The property is located within a lovely area and within easy walking distance to the beach. The Cottage provides the perfect place to relax and unwind; it was clean and well serviced with amenities. The owners were very hospitable and always available to answer any queries. We spent some great days out to Sandbanks, Lyme Regis, Swanage, Bournemouth and Studland Bay. We also recommend the Basillico Restaurant for a lovely evening out locally.

We shall be recommending this property to our friends and family and hope to return soon!

Stunning Branksome holiday cottage

The garden cottage is easily one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in. It's beautiful inside and out and the Branksome location is simply stunning. The hosts next door had provided everything you could need and our two daughters loved their room. The beach is a very pleasant stroll downhill and Westbourne is also close by. Our best day out was to Middle Beach in Studland, Swanage which was a short drive away across the chain ferry from Sandbanks. We will definitely be coming back!

A great place to stay with family

We spent a lovely week at the Garden Cottage in July 2016. Its location is just perfect - close enough to Westbourne to walk if you want to and only a 10-minute walk down to the beach so no worries about finding a parking space. Yes, it is uphill on the way back but it is still a pleasant walk along the tree-lined roads.

The house itself has everything you want. The kitchen comes fully equipped and there is a dishwasher and washing machine. The bedrooms are decorated to a very high standard and the beds are very comfortable. It's great to have two bathrooms when there are 4 of you and plenty of towels are provided. The NOW TV was also a bonus with all the films to watch.

Outside has plenty of seating for eating, or sunbathing (not that we got to do much of that!)

I would recommend this property and if down in the area again would definitely want to use it again - it's so nice having space rather than being squashed into a hotel bedroom with the children on a sofa-bed.
