Georgian Crescent Apartment With 1 Bedroom and Free Parking

'Norfolk Green' is a second floor apartment within one of Bath's original Georgian Crescents.

Situated within No.16 Norfolk Crescent, the apartment overlooks a wide open green space to the front of the building. This provides panoramic views from the property’s living room and takes in the leafy banks of the River Avon and cityscape beyond.

The property is a short, flat walk from the historic centre. Within just a few minutes you can be within the heart of the city and enjoying the shopping, restaurants and historic attractions that make Bath a truly unique UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Norfolk Crescent was built between 1793 and 1822 and is a designated Grade 2 listed building. The original design of the crescent was by John Palmer and is a fine example of architecture from that time.

The property includes a spacious living room, bedroom, kitchen / dining area and bathroom. The rooms are of Georgian proportions including 3.3 metre ceiling heights and large sash windows. The apartment has gas central heating throughout and has free WiFi Broadband.

The property has one master bedroom, furnished with a king-size mahogany sleigh bed. Bed linen is provided and includes goose feather and duck down duvets together with feather and hypo-allergenic fibre pillows. The bedroom has been finished to a high standard with beautiful fabrics and interior décor. The bedroom includes an open faced wardrobe for storage of clothing and other luggage.

The property includes a bathroom that has been styled to reflect the age and feel of the building. The black and white design coupled with period china ware makes for a decadent feel from a time gone by. The bathroom is beautifully worked to include a bath, shower, basin, toilet and towel rail heater.

Norfolk Green has a spacious, well decorated living room. The predominantly black and white interior of the living room hosts a two seat sofa, period fireplace and a 32” television.

The kitchen is fully equipped. It includes newly installed kitchen units and work tops, a gas hob and electric oven, fridge / freezer, kettle, toaster and washing machine.

An extending dining table is provided. The table can be: folded away, made into a romantic two seater, or fully extended to allow up to 4 persons to dine. The table is beautifully constructed from wood and is a modern antique.

Complimentary teas, ground coffee and milk will be provided upon your arrival. Should you wish for any additional food and drink items these can be arranged for your arrival (and charged accordingly). We can also help with restaurant recommendations and suggestions for activities and entertainment.

A parking permit is provided within the cost of the rental. The permit allows one vehicle to be parked at any time within the parking bays along Norfolk Crescent and surrounding streets.

Great stay, perfect location, and well priced

I needed a place to stay in Bath and had to take what was available. I was deterred slightly by the Spartan comment but this place was in the perfect location so I booked it.

On arrival, I found the place to be just what I need and beyond. It's simple and well-furnished. The kitchen is well equipped for any traveler and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Natural light in this little flat is quite scenic, I would definitely book this place again in the summer for a short relaxing trip.

The location is perfect for those who want to have a local-like experience. The park and the surrounding architecture easily made me forget how close I was to the city. It surprised me to find a Sainsburys so near but so out of sight. More importantly, the heart of the city was no more than five minutes away by walking.

Mark recommended some great coffee shops and restaurants to try. He's a great host with absolutely no hassle and it was easy to communicate with him.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to be close to the city and staying at a nice place. Cheers again.

Bath Made Easy

Norfolk Green was the perfect home base for my trip to Bath. Along with being conveniently located to restaurants and attractions, the apartment was super clean. Mark's attention to detail concerning the apartment amenities was appreciated and his information email packet gave me peace of mind and made entry super easy. I enjoyed my breakfast watching the local dogs taking their morning romp on the Green. I will highly recommend this location and Mark's effort.

It was generally good, but we could not avoid a slight feeling of disappointment.

We found that all of the features described in the web site were there, but some of them were a bit exaggerated. In particular, the finish of the rooms was not really up to the description, being somewhat Spartan.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the booking process was painless. We did not have a car, but I would not have liked to take my chances of finding parking nearby.

For the benefit of any potential guests I would like to stress that all of the photographs shown provide a genuine representation of how the apartment is. All of the photographs have been taken recently, none of them have been photo-edited in any way and none of the photographs have been “brought in” from other properties. Mike, you also highlight the parking arrangements at Norfolk Crescent as a potential issue for guests. I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate to any potential guests of what we provide. We provide a FREE parking permit that allows guests to park one vehicle on Norfolk Crescent or the surrounding streets. Parking is limited to the available bays within this area, but in total there are over a hundred spaces. The parking permit does not guarantee that a space will be available, spaces are on a first come basis. I have been visiting our apartment at Norfolk Crescent twice a week for the past three years and I can honestly say that I have always been able to park my vehicle on Norfolk Crescent or on the adjacent roads without issue. Yes, the local streets do have an abundance of parked cars but please realise that it is a city centre location and as most travellers should be aware, city centres are busy places. Beautiful Bath home!

The apartment was the perfect spot to call " home" while in bath.

It was a quiet location, yet minutes walk from the town center.

The apartment has been well kept and spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essential tools and more.

Great selection of coffee and tea was out for us!

The communication before and during our stay was prompt and courteous.

We were also able to check in prior to the check in time which was great!

Wonderful stay in Bath!

Absolutely loved this apartment! Much larger than it looked in the photos, with great views. In a nice and and quiet location, yet not far from the town center. Wish I could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable, convenient, and impeccably managed.

I needed a quiet place to spread out and get some work done while in the UK, and this place was just perfect. Plenty of room, comfortable bed, lovely kitchen, and convenient to shops, downtown Bath, and National Rail. Mark was extraordinarily accommodating and helpful in every way. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would heartily recommend this property to anyone coming to Bath for a day, or a month. Well done!
