Newly redecorated in 2014, balcony South / East with sea and hills.

Apartment sunny and very pleasant, with parking in the basement located 150 meters from the residence and available for free. It consists of a large fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bath, washing machine, and a separate toilet, and a bedroom with two beds 90x190 cm that can together to make a double bed of 180x190 cm. The room also has a large sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, a TV and a DVD player, composing a sitting area overlooking the terrace. The total area of ​​this apartment is 38 m2 and can comfortably accommodate two people. It is located in a residential area, quiet, in the heart of Cimiez, five minutes walk from the Roman ruins of Arênes Cemenelum, the Matisse Museum, the Monastery of Cimiez and its splendid rose garden. The Chagall Museum is also nearby and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMAC) is easily accessible on foot or by bus. Vieux Nice (Old Town) and its famous market and its Opera, is not far away (by bus or on foot). The sea and its famous pebble beaches, the port of Nice, the Nautical Centre, the city center and its shops, cinemas, theater (TNN) are also nearby. Shops are located 150 m from the apartment: bakery, butcher, newsagent, post office, supermarket ... and two pharmacies, doctors, two hairdressers, laundry ...

The apartment is located 9 km from Nice Airport and 2 km from Nice Train Station. It is very easily accessible by bus: Bus 17 towards Cimiez Monastery, off Prince of Wales.

It is fully equipped with flat screen TV and DVD player (several DVDs are available), large refrigerator (200 liters) and large freezer (80 liters), microwave, ceramic hob and electric oven, dishwasher, coffee machine , toaster, washing machine, mini hi-fi, garden furniture and awning-canvas all over the balcony.

Bed linen is provided and the linens (towels, tea towels, table linen).

For reasons of health the apartment does not accommodate our animal friends.

The apartment is non smoking.

A cleaning fee of 40 euros is charged in addition to the price of the stay.

The city tax is 1.50 Euros per day per person (free for under 18). It adds to the price of the stay.

Wonderful view in a quite neighboorhood

We spent 13 nights here in July 2015 and we got a warm welcome, even though we arrived late in the evening because of our flight. They had left us some light breakfast for the next morning, which we really appreciated seeing as we arrived so late in the evening. Our hosts were really nice, and very helpful with everything we needed, answering questions and telling us about the area.

This is a great place for 2 people. We especially enjoyed the balcony with the sea view, where we had most of our meals. There is sun on the balcony in the morning and most of the day, but there is a shade that can be turned in and out as needed, so you don’t get fried in the sun. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed. The apartment is nice and clean, and there is a tv and dvd player, plus a small selection of dvd’s if you want a night in. The apartment also has everything you need in terms of washing machine and dishwasher etc.

The apartment is situated in a residential neighborhood and we really enjoyed the quiet calm atmosphere.There is a 3 min. walk to the bus stop where there is bus every 30 minutes taking you straight to the city center in ca. 20 min. You can get 7 day bus passes cheap, so it is a good alternative if you do not have a car, they are valid for most busses in the cote d’azur area and takes you to all the nearby towns and sights. If you do not feel like taking the bus it is about 30 min. walk into the center, but the walk is nice and take you through most of Cimiez, so we can recommend doing that at least once. There is a big grocery store about 10-15 min walk from the apartment with a bakery and kiosk attached where you will find everything you need. There is also a little local shop 5 min. from the apartment where you can get most you need for day-to-day. The Matisse Museum and the Chagall museum is also close to the apartment, and so is two beautiful parks/gardens where it is possible to have a picnic or just enjoy the sun, we did that on those days where we just wanted to relax and we really enjoyed the local feel of the area.

We loved our stay in Nice and in this apartment, and can really recommend it for anyone considering a trip to the area.

au calme avec vue sur la mer

un appartement très agréable à vivre et reposant, avec une belle vue sur le Montboron et le port de Nice dans le quartier calme de Cimiez. quelques bus descendent rapidement sur le centre de Nice et le quartier est lui-même riche en promenades et visites. l’accueil de Delphine Trastour est parfait et très chaleureux. bref, toutes les conditions pour un excellent séjour.

Alle Wünsche erfüllt!!!!

Wir verraten natürlich ungern unseren absoluten Geheimtip für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Nizza, aber hier kann man wirklich einen Urlaub verbringen, der alle Bequemlichkeiten bietet. Die Wohnung befindet sich in Cimiez, nahe dem berühmten "Boulevard de Cimiez", in einer wunderschönen Umgebung mit den schönsten Villen der Stadt. Die Wohnung hat eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche für Leute, die gerne zuhause kochen und dann das Abendessen mit Blick über Nizza und das Meer genießen wollen. Das Schlafzimmer hat zwei Betten a 90 cm mit wirklich guten Matratzen, die man getrennt oder zusammengeschoben benutzen kann. Sowohl Küche, als auch Schlafzimmer haben Zugang zum Balkon sind sehr hell. Es gibt ein getrenntes WC(!!!) und ein Badezimmer mit Wanne und Duschwand und Waschmaschine. Alles ist in bestem Zustand und sehr sauber. Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in dieser Wohnung verbracht und danken unseren netten Vermietern und Louise!!!
