Villa Daniso is a comfortable spacious villa, perfect for family holidays. The villa has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The master bedroom (with double bed) has an en-suite bathroom in Victorian style with a Victorian bath with brass feet. There is also a spacious en-suite dressing room.
The second bedroom (without en suite) has two single beds. This bedroom has direct access to the covered naya and the pool area. The third bedroom is in fact a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom. One of these two rooms has 2 single beds. The other room has a big bunkbed. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom en suite. The fifth bedroom (very spacious) is on the second floor. It has 2 single beds and an ensuite bathroom and direct access to the terrace on the second floor. This terrace has a nice view to the sea and to the mountains and it can be covered if needed,
The kitchen is spacious and complete with a new dishwasher and microwave, big fridge, and an adjacent room with washing-machine and dryer. All utensils are there incl.coffee-machine, water cooker, close-in boiler etc,
The dinner-table has 10 places and the dining-area is next to the kitchen. In the same area hangs one flat screen TV (incl DVD player and karaoke), which is connected to the satellite dish.
All rooms in the house have hot/cold air conditioning and gas central heating. The villa has an extra water-storage, which is very useful in the middle of summer, when water-pressure can be low.
Outside of the house are several (covered) terraces with deck-chairs and sunbeds near the pool. There is a big dinner-table on a terrace next to the summer-kitchen. The summer-kitchen is covered and the terrace with dinner-table can be covered if needed.
There is plenty of space to play ping-pong and mini football. The whole area around the house is fenced.
In the direct neighbourhood of Villa Daniso are many pine-trees and eucalyptus-trees and there is always a light sea-breeze.
The owner of Villa Daniso is Nina. Nina is the eldest daughter out of a family with 7 children. Nina lives with her husband and her daughters in the house of her parents, which is very close to her Villa Daniso. Her daughters attend the Lady Elisabeth British school very close to Moraira.
Ruud Molhoek purchased this villa in 2014
A few years ago Nina's family decided to settle down in Moraira because of the unique environment, healthy climate, tranquillity and hospitality of the people, which create excellent conditions for children to grow up and study.
During the past 40 years Villa Daniso belonged to a Spanish family. At the time when they bought the house it was still a Spanish finca (farm-house). They gradually improved and expanded the house and built terraces and a swimming-pool. After growing up of their children the Spanish owners decided to move into a smaller place for themselves and they sold their house to Nina. During the last 5 months the villa was completely updated, modernized and painted inside out..
Villa Daniso delighted us at first sight. It is big and comfortable but at the same time cosy and private. There is plenty of room to live with a big family and to receive many guests. All amenities are nearby. After a sun-bath on the terrace in summer it is cool inside of Villa Daniso. During a cool day in winter it is nicely dry and warm inside of the villa. You can easily stay with several small families because of the space inside and outside of the house
.The villa was spacious, luxurious, clean and everything you needed for a good holiday. The pool was amazing and the grandchildren spent most of the holiday submerged! The outside area was spacious and user friendly. The outside kitchen was a definite boom. There was a fridge/freezer, sink, BBQ and large table and chairs with overhead awning that could be retracted. Large shaded porch with comfortable sofa and arm chairs and another table and chairs. Inside kitchen was spacious and modern, with attached utility room. Nina was very helpful and although we did not meet Ruud he was very professional and helpful. Damage deposit returned very quickly to our bank in England.
Cars are really quite necessary (along with sat nav!) Moraira lovely, but very busy in August. Local beaches are busy but who wants to spend time on beach when you have Villa Danisio. We think 5* stars!
We stayed here in July with our family whose ages ranged from 7 to 89. The villa is really lovely, well decorated with some nice touches to make it feel homely. It is very spacious and the facilities are excellent with a super pool and outdoor kitchen with barbecue which was often used by ourselves. The house was cleaned well and the beds were very comfortable. We did have a minor problem with one of the air con. units but this was put right promptly and efficiently. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and in a way we have been spoiled for staying elsewhere as it would be difficult to find anywhere else as good.
Very welcoming and informative host. Swimming pool was perfect temperature. We have found some pools in Moraira to be a little chilly, but this one was superb. Villa was extremely spacious. We had 8 adults and 2 small children and still had a bedroom that wasn't used!
Outside kitchen/BBQ was a treat, and the views from the upper terrace were panoramic. Off street private parking available. Kitchen was well appointed and the communal areas were more than big enough for us all.
We have stayed in a variety of villas in and around Moraira and we can say that this one was a real treat and lucky find for us. The location was ideal.
Loved every minute of the holiday and the villa is fabulous. We had a two-week family holiday in August and the villa exceeded all expectations. We were met on arrival and given a thorough tour of the villa which was far above our expectations. We were a group of ten with three young children and we found the villa suitable for all ages. Throughout our stay we were able to contact the owners representative who was able to deal with any queries. The only advise I would give is to state that a car is essential as the walk to and from the town is a challenge to even the fittest person. As a seasoned villa veteran I would recommend this villa as it is fantastic value for money.
what a fantastic holiday for all our family villa is a wonderful place if you want to do nothing but rest. Villa spendidly appointed and immaculate thanks to Nina and Ruud for providing us with a wonderful place to relax. My grandaughters went from armband swimmers to swimmers in one week because of their obsession with the fantastic pool area .Thank you Ruud and Nina from the Neale family.recommend this villa to all our friends
My Mum, husband, two children and I headed to Villa Daniso to meet with my sister, her husband and two children who travelled from Australia. We spent three weeks in Moraira and had a fantastic holiday!
The house is immaculately clean, plenty of space, good sized bedrooms, lots of bathrooms. We loved the summer kitchen equipped with a fridge, hob, BBQ and sink and ate out there whenever we weren't out for dinner. The kids got great use out of the table football and the table tennis table and of course the pool where we adults had plenty of loungers and chairs to watch them from.
We dealt with Nina and also met with Ruud during our stay. They couldn't have been more accommodating to us. Nina met us at the house and showed us how everything worked (the air conditioning in every room was so welcome!). Any queries we had during our stay were responded to really quickly and even though we were left to enjoy our holiday ourselves we knew Nina would be there if we needed anything.
The town of Moraira was such a pleasant surprise. El Portet beach is a picturesque cove with clear turquoise water. A car is recommended as the villa is uphill from the sea. We made our way through the Trip Advisor top 10 restaurants and our favourites were Rondo's, La Serenna and Kosta. The taxi service is great, it takes about 5-10 minutes to arrive. We did find Moraira more expensive than other places in Spain that we have visited but also felt it was more upmarket.
We visited the waterpark in Benidorm and had a great day there and also went out on a catamaran day trip sailing from Calpe.
I would love to return to Villa Daniso in the future. We got home a week and a half ago and I'm still sad that we've left behind the beautiful villa, weather and town!
