Beautifull appartment close to the sea!

We had a pleasant stay in Estepona. The apartment is very spacious, and well maintained.

When you arrive there's a lot of information available of things to visit in the area.

It's situated close to the sea, a very good restaurant is nearby (walking distance).

We will return, for another relaxing holiday.

A very relaxing holiday

We very much enjoyed our 2 weeks at this apartment complex. It's approximately 1.5 to 2 miles away from Estepona so close enough to walk (if you're a keen walker), or you can get there by bus/car/taxi. There are local supermarkets close by as you head into Estepona town. Estepona is a lovely, clean, relaxing family oriented resort and the people are very friendly indeed which all helps to make the holiday experience better.

Although the complex is situated on the beach, we kept to the pool. If we wanted to eat close by we could go to the restaurant just outside the complex, on the front. There is also Laguna village close by with various beach clubs etc - a 5/10 minute walk away.

Surprisingly the complex was quieter than we expected given that we were there in the first 2 weeks of August but we were happy about this as the pool area wasn't over busy. The children enjoyed playing there and made good friends during our stay. The pool rules are quite strict though. Floats are restricted to young children who cannot swim so don't take large floats and expect to play with them.

We found Birigt (owner) to be very helpful indeed leading up to our holiday, and afterwards when we gave her some feedback. The only negatives for us were the following:

-Limited toiletries on our arrival - had to purchase hand soap, toilet rolls.

-High damage deposit. We learnt that other apartments charged less.

-Wonky chair leg in the dining area -- not a problem for us as we ate outside but would have been had we wanted to stay indoors.

-Old beach towels. We purchased a new one which we brought back..

-Lack of some basic utensils. We purchased tea towels and a bread knife, which we left at the apartment, but there was no pizza cutter, for example.

-Basic handover. It would have been nice to have more information about the local area such as where to eat and were to visit. We feel that a more thorough booklet from the owner would have been very helpful. Luckily we met families who had stayed at the complex before and they recommended places to eat and visit.

The only other thing to add is that it is easy to trip the electrics! If you use two items at the same time such as a hairdryer and iron, or oven and kettle you may end up without electric, and then the air conditioning has to be reset too. It would have been useful to know this in the owner guidance so that we could avoid this.

Overall very happy and would return.

Excellent central location and large apartment

We recently spend 1 week of vacation at this very new apartment. No worries when you book this place, just fly, rent a car and enjoy Estepona, the nice restaurants at walking distance.

Estepona Beach Apartment

we have just spent the months of February and March at this lovely apartment on the edge of Estepona on the Costa Del Sol strip.

The apartment itself was modern and clean with a great view looking down toward the garden and pool area plus the sea where you could see the rock of Gibraltar on a clear day. It looks exactly like the pictures posted.

The location was a little further to the centre of town than I first imagined (about 30 minutes walk) but since my wife and I are ardent walkers, it made sure we got our daily exercise when we decided to stay local. The town itself was the biggest surprise, it has a fairly big old town, and was extremely clean with decorative streets and lots of wonderful places to eat.

The location was perfect for touring around. We visited Gibraltar, Cadiz, Seville, Córdoba , Grenada, Ronda etc, and when we visited the seafront towns of Marbella and Puerto Banus, we just got the no. 79 bus from the bus stop which was fairly close by.

We really enjoy our stay in this apartment and our stay in Estepona, and would definitely recommend this area to anyone who wants to visit the Costa Del Sol.

Lovely accommodation with excellent facilities and 2 great outdoor pools.

Accommodation was excellent and the apartment is very modern. You can get by without a car, but the nearest supermarket is around a 25 minute walk and to walk to Estepona town is around 45 minutes, which is a bit further than I would have liked. However, there is a good taxi service and you can get to Estepona town for €7.

I would recommend staying here if you have a young family.

Excellent very roomy apartment with good sized covered terrace, quality fitments and next to beach.

This two bedroon, two bathroom apartment in Estepona lived up to our expectations and the owner, Birgit, was very helpful at each stage. The only minor comment I would make is that most British people renting the apartment would much prefer to have an electric toaster (instead of using the oven grill) and a proper electric kettle instead of having to use the coffee maker or microwave to heat water to make tea.

A car is pretty much essential and we hired one from Malaga Airport via 'Economy Car Hire' in the UK before travelling. This allowed us to get the most out of our week including a visit to Gibralter.

Two well priced restarants we would recommend are Vice Versa at Estepona Port - a gastropub offering quality, well cooked food - and Mister Wok, within walking distance of the apartment that offers a fixed price, all you can eat Asian menu including fresh fish that you can select and have ccoked while you watch. The latter has a good selection for children and is very child friendly.

Fantastic view from the spacious terrace on the beach, swimming pool and garden. Lovely location for families to relax into eternal serenity. Three swimming pools for you to enjoy: two outdoor pools and a third one indoor and heated (salt water). Direct access to the beach, amazing SPA and Fitness, private Tennis Court for you to use.

Next door lounge bars and restaurants Kempinski and Camuri Laguna Village (also accessible by the beach) give you the pleasure of tasting exquisite Spanish seafood, local tapas and fresh Sushi. You can wine and dine on the beach.

Estepona town, its harbour and historical centre are 15 minutes walk away: nice local beach clubs, small family restaurants and typical Spanish shops. Are you in for more action, then you must visit Esteponas Adventure park, Flamenco centre or rent a Catamaran or a Sail Boat. For luxurious yachts and exclusive stores Puerto Banus is the place to be.

There is so much more to discover in beautiful Andalucia. The apartment is located within two hours of most Andalusian cities: Seville, Granada, Antequera, Cádiz, Córdoba, Jerez - and within one hour of Málaga (Picasso Museum, cathedral, Roman theatre and more historic sites), Marbella and Ronda (canyon). A visit to Tangier, in Morocco, takes only a short drive and ferry ride away. Gibraltar gives a magnificent view on the gap between Africa and Europe. The well known monkeys are pure enjoy and fun for children.

For Golf players: excellent location! You are staying in a quiet area with over 50 golf courses nearby (situated between Málaga and Gibraltar).
