Friendly and helpful owners next door

The house is well maintained and comfortable a short stroll from the sea. It is in the middle of French tourist seaside town humming with restaurants and shops. The outside walled garden was completely quiet and an oasis from the sunny, busy main streets. There was no noise at night so rest was easy. Parking is in a car park (approx 40Euros per week) as the house is in a pedestrianised area. Refuse collections are daily-which was a nice surprise for us Brits who are not used to this. There is no air con which was not a problem in September for us but I would usually look for this especially in earlier months. There is plenty of kitchen equipment although there were not many wine glasses and they were not fine rimmed. We found it easy to visit Grande Motte, Agues Mortes, Montpellier etc We were struck by the different atmosphere of neighbouring villages and towns, with much diversity. We found the people of this region to be very friendly and the food was always good. We could feel that the owners had spent their energy making this house pretty and homely with some delightful touches. Other holidaymakers we could hear were usually French and ranging over all age groups.

Schönes Ferienhaus in Südfrankreich

Wir waren Ende August bis Anfang September Gäste in Südfrankreich.

Wir sind sehr freundlich vom Vermieter empfangen wurden. Die Wohnung, welche eigentlich schon ein Haus ist, hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Ambiente war so wie wir es mögen. Der kleine begrünte Innenhof ist sehr ruhig und war für unser tägliches Abendessen perfekt. An Geschirr war alles was man braucht reichlich da. Einen Hinweis an den Vermieter: Die Gewürze und die Reste von den Vorgängern bitte entsorgen. Z. B. ein offenes Glas Nutella...

Ich glaube nicht, dass die nächsten Mieter das benutzen. Zumal ja keiner weiß, wie alt das Zeug ist.

Ansonsten war alles Bestens. Das Vermieterpaar hat uns auch sehr schöne Tipps gegeben. Z. B. Restaurants, Strände, Besichtigungen. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung auf alle Fälle weiter! Vielen Dank nochmals an Emanuelle und seine Frau
