Huge original windows facing west, for light all afternoon, and gabled skylights for natural top light all day.

Two huge original zinc loading doors , and London-brick walls remind of the building’s original use, and many other architectural and industrial features remain.

100 year old hardwood flooring, architect-designed hand built staircase, reclaimed iron purpose-built gallery, antique piano, and antique and reclaimed furniture throughout.

Hand-built kitchen with sunny window sills, Smeg fridge and Belfast sink.

Huge four-seater sofa plus a futon sofa bed for having friends to stay.

Cast-iron fire escape and roof access for picnics or a book in the sun.

Surrounding Area

London Fields park is one minute away, with Tennis courts, basketball courts, cricket pitch, Lido for swimming and plenty of trees to barbecue under.

The famous Broadway Market is a 2 minute walk, hosting London’s best food and farmer’s market every Saturday. Another farmer’s market and Netil market are in the next door school’s playground and the car park of Netil House respectively, both also on Saturdays…

The E5 bakery is next to London Fields station (2 mins) and bakes fresh bread everyday, with an in house pizzaiolo in residence on Sundays.

Walk to the canal (2 minutes) and head east for Victoria Park and the Olympic Village, or west for a beautiful tow-path walk all the way to Paddington, via Islington and Camden along the water.

Haggerston City Farm is 7 minutes away, and just beyond that is the renowned Columbia Road Flower Market, every Sunday from dawn…

For transport Hackney Central overland station is 6 minutes away, and Bethnal Green Underground Station (central line) is 15 minutes away. Buses to Waterloo, London Bridge, Liverpool St, Oxford Street are frequent. London Fields Rail Station is 2 minutes away and the train to Liverpool Street from there takes 10 minutes and there are usually four an hour.

Victoria Park Village is a ten minute stroll through beautiful Victoria Park, and has cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as an Organic butchers, deli and greengrocers. Try Spitjacks for rotisserie chicken, Namo for Vietnamese, or Su Sazzagoni for authentic Sardinian cooking.

Rail road café on Morning Lane does superb home cooked food, and there are only ever three things (different each day, all delicious) on the menu at a time. Try the Kenton Arms on Kenton Road for a drink before or after. Ombra on Vyner St does great cichetti, (Venetian tapas) and the bar at the Town Hall hotel is nice, as is their Corner Bistro restaurant. For a good pub with real ale, a beer garden and home-made British bar snacks, try the Spurstowe Arms or the Scolt Head…
