Luxury south facing apartment with stunning views of the Mediterranean and close to beaches, golf courses, racecourse and the mountains. These first floor apartments are set in a small private development with two swimming pools and a jacuzzi. The large terrace overlooks well-kept gardens and the Mediterranean. Village of La Cala is five minutes away. Fuengirola is 5 minutes in the opposite direction with plenty of shops, an aquapark, restaurants, bars and clubs for socialising. Other cities within driving distance are Marbella, Malaga, Granada and Gibralter. Skiing in Sierra Nevada just a 3 hours drive away. There are superb golf courses at Mijas and La Cala. Picturesque villages such as Mijas and the town of Ronda (Roman) are nearby. Restaurants and supermarket are 5 minutes walk. Marbella Shopping: Marbella, the most upmarket city on the costa is within 30 minutes drive. There is excellent shopping and the boats in the harbour are awesome. This is the playground of the worlds richest. A new motorway links areas all along the coast

Torremolinos & Benalmadena: Torremolinos and Benalmadena are on the direct road, about 15 km. There is a huge choice of restaurants, bars, discos and markets in the area.

Impossible to fault!

My family and I stayed at these adjacent apartments for 2 weeks in September. I cannot recommend them enough. They are nicer than described and extremely spacious, modern and clean. Both have large balconies with sea views - great for lunch whilst watching the kids have fun in the pool! We have holidayed in the Costa del Sol many times and have never come across a development with so much space. Great location and peace & quiet.

The owner was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant.

I have recommended these apartments to friends who have already booked for later this year.

No shortage of bars and restaurants within walking distance too.

The gardens are immaculate and the whole complex is spotless!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in this apartment. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony, the swimming pools and the fact that it was quiet and relaxing. There’s a washing machine which came in very handy and there's wifi and satellite TV.. Our only disappointment was that there was no BBQ even tho’ it says on the description that there is one. It’s a great location to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. We decided not to hire a car and instead used the bus or taxi to get around. The most reliable bus stop to use is the one just off the motorway – a short downhill walk from the complex, to go to Marbella and Cala de Mijas, or cross over the motorway on the footpath and there’s a bus to Fuengirola. Both run every 30 minutes. Don’t bother waiting for the bus that supposedly stops outside the complex - apparently it comes twice a day but we never saw it in the two weeks we stayed there. On the whole it was a good holiday and the whole family enjoyed it. Thanks :-)

An excellent value stay

We had a wonderful stay in a great apartment with amazing views. You can walk to some good restaurants. Although we had hired a car we found the bus service very convenient, particularly when we wanted to go out for dinner in the evenings. A few instructions would have been useful in the flat. We had an enjoyable time and would totally recommend staying there.

Owner's Response: Thank you for that.The local bus service is very good for visiting La Cala (2.5km) Fuengirola (5km) or Marbella (18km). The local cafes are also great with a mixture of Spanish, Italian, Chinese, English, Indian and Mexican restaurants. The views over the very extensive gardens were one of the main attractions for me in buying this apartment initially and these have been enhanced over time. I look forward to many more years visiting Balcones, John

excellent large clean apparentment in spain

Lovely large clean apparentment. We stayed here for a week and would definitely go back. Buses to marbs and fuengirola every half hour. Bus stop is only 5 mins walk. Nice bars and shops locally. Very clean gated development. The pool is large and there's a snack bar with a very helpful man. Had a very chilled holiday. Thanks.

Very impressed with stay - would recommend.

We were there for a week and had no issues at all. The apartment has a view of the sea in the distance and the balcony gets the sun from mid morning until evening time. Apartment has all the usual amenities incl TV and decent WIFI. You are 5 minutes from La Cala by car & although its the smallest of the nearby towns its the nicest / most quaint. There are buses every 30mins to La Cala and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk away. There's also a selection of nearby restaurants 5 minutes away if looking for something handier.

The Costa del Sol must be the best location in Europe for holidaying, and we are fortunate in being right beside the sea with wonderful views over the Mediterranean, and with quick access to the local beaches. Balcones de Chapperal is 25km from Malaga Airport. Beach is within walking distance. Local village of El Faro is immediately adjacent to Balcones del Chaparral. athis has several Restaurants, Bars, a Supermarket, Pharmacy, Internet shop and some other stores; there is also a small serviced sandy beach. The local village of La Cala with its sandy beaches and the shopping town of Fuengirola are five minutes drive in opposite directions. Golf courses and racecourse adjacent to apartment complex. Sierra Nevada mountains, for skiing in Winter and hiking in Summer, are approx 2 1/2 hours driving distance. Beautiful historical cities such as Granada, Ronda, Seville and Cordoba are all within driving distance and make for enjoy-full day trips, as do Gibraltar and a trip to North Africa.

Golf: There are a large number of Golf Courses within easy reach. El Chaparral course is within walking distance and the several courses around La Cala are within 4km

Ski: Skiing in the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort from December to March is about 2 hours away, near Granada.

Notes:
This Apartment is finished to a high standard. The marble floors throughout lend a cooling atmosphere, while the spacious south-facing terrace is suitable for dining and sunning. The views are wonderful and the apartment is easily accessible with eight steps to the front door. Inside is all on one level. The air conditioning and heating extends to the bedrooms as well as the living room. We can arrange for a car and collection from the Airport.
