Luxury south facing apartment with stunning views of the Mediterranean and close to beaches, golf courses, racecourse and the mountains. These first floor apartments are set in a small private development with two swimming pools and a jacuzzi. The large terrace overlooks well-kept gardens and the Mediterranean. Village of La Cala is five minutes away. Fuengirola is 5 minutes in the opposite direction with plenty of shops, an aquapark, restaurants, bars and clubs for socialising. Other cities within driving distance are Marbella, Malaga, Granada and Gibralter. Skiing in Sierra Nevada just a 3 hours drive away. There are superb golf courses at Mijas and La Cala. Picturesque villages such as Mijas and the town of Ronda (Roman) are nearby. Restaurants and supermarket are 5 minutes walk. Marbella Shopping: Marbella, the most upmarket city on the costa is within 30 minutes drive. There is excellent shopping and the boats in the harbour are awesome. This is the playground of the worlds richest. A new motorway links areas all along the coast

Torremolinos & Benalmadena: Torremolinos and Benalmadena are on the direct road, about 15 km. There is a huge choice of restaurants, bars, discos and markets in the area.

This Apartment is finished to a high standard. The marble floors throughout lend a cooling atmosphere, while the spacious south-facing terrace is suitable for dining and sunning. The views are wonderful and the apartment is easily accessible with eight steps to the front door. Inside is all on one level. The air conditioning and heating extends to the bedrooms as well as the living room. We can arrange for a car and collection from the Airport.

Great apartment

Had a great holiday, lovely clean apartment (thanks to Amanda who met us at apt to handover keys,really friendly), we especially enjoyed the large balcony equipped with table, chairs and loungers, Sun on balcony from lunchtime till sunset, great weather in April. Situated in a peaceful location between Fuengerola and La Cala which we walked to both (took about 30 mins) Easy to book with owner who kept us informed by txt, would defo go again. Thanks

Lovely apartment in a stunning position

We needed more information regarding the rules of the urbanisation where the apartment was situated. Once we got things sorted out we had a great holiday although the weather was very changeable for May. The apartment is in a prime position with a wonderful outlook and near to many facilities, shops, beaches. The pools were great once they opened.

Relaxing retreat with a fantastic view!

We are so glad we booked to stay at this apartment. It is within easy reach of Malaga airport, we got a train from the airport to Fuengirola and a taxi, total cost of under €20 for 3 of us (you don’t have to pay for kiddies on the train). The view from the apartment is perfect, it looks out over the well kept gardens, swimming pool and sea!! The swimming pool was perfect for all ages. Our 4 year old loved playing in the walk in shallow end, but there is also a large deep area too. The pool bar/restaurant has games available and a play area for youngsters e.g sand area with small slides, Wendy houses etc.

We went both ways (Marbella and Fuengirola) on the bus, 5 mins from apartment. They are regular and the service was good. The bust to Fuengirola takes you to the road next to the train station, so easy access to other areas like Benalmádena.

We did get a bit of a shock when we went to the local beach with our 4 year old to find it was a nudist beach!!! A bus trip to La Cala and the lovely beach there put a smile back on her previously disappointed face!!

We look forward to booking the apartment again. It is comfortable and has everything you need.

Owner's Response: Thanks for that. There is a nudist beach close by, but there is a very well serviced regular beach also. It is within 100m of the nudist beach ---- but well separated from it. I'm just back from the Apartment myself, having arrived a day or so after you left. The weather was great this year with temperatures from 24 to 32C. we had to lower the Awning on the terrace every day. And I never tire of that view from the terrace. John

Outstanding views from the apartment, very clean and large appartment in beautiful landscaped grns

Well equipped with everything you may need (except instructions for the complicated cooker hob!!) And no barbecue? Although listed in the inventory on the advert. It is well located for a stoll down to the beach, or a brisk walk to la cala. Well laid out appartment with 2 x large bedrooms (both en-suite ) and his/hers basins! Air con in every room, large living room with dining area and stunning sea and pool views. It is very secure with Electric gates and off street parking the whole complex is totally fenced off ?,it is very, very quite and peaceful, on the occasional day (depending upon wind direction ) you can hear traffic noise from the distant main road (which you can't see! ) but other than that ! Perfect! ! I would highly recommend this appartment, and should we visit this area again, then this appartment would be top of my wish list.

Owner's Response: Thank you for that. The area is quiet and peaceful. Not suitable for very active youngsters seeking thrills and noise, but very suitable for couples and families. Regarding the traffic noise which can be detected with open doors on very quiet evenings. A friend and myself had a bet about its source, and after walking down through the development to the road/shore we concluded that it is mostly due to the sea. However it is a long way from being intrusive. I abandoned the barbecue some time ago in favour of an electric griddle (due to cleaning problems ) and thought I had corrected the advert. I'll check that out. Thanks again, John

Peaceful and relaxing - wonderful holiday!

We had a wonderful time here, the children adored the pool. Pool bar was great for snacks and ice-creams, people are very friendly there too. Quite a few English people own these apartments so easy to ask about places to go etc. Local taxi to La Cala approx 9 euros and approx 12 to Fuengirola. Mercadona in La Cala with plenty of everything. Lovely restaurants in La Cala with good variety of food choices. The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable with plenty of equipment and utensils etc. The balcony was large and we could sit on there and watch our elder daughter in the pool. The pool was never busy and the grounds are stunning, and very well maintained. We will definitely return there!

One of my neighbours is Belgian, another Swedish, and there are British and Irish also; indeed I think every European country is represented. The gardens are immaculate and the whole complex is spotless!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in this apartment. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony, the swimming pools and the fact that it was quiet and relaxing. There’s a washing machine which came in very handy and there's wifi and satellite TV.. Our only disappointment was that there was no BBQ even tho’ it says on the description that there is one. It’s a great location to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. We decided not to hire a car and instead used the bus or taxi to get around. The most reliable bus stop to use is the one just off the motorway – a short downhill walk from the complex, to go to Marbella and Cala de Mijas, or cross over the motorway on the footpath and there’s a bus to Fuengirola. Both run every 30 minutes. Don’t bother waiting for the bus that supposedly stops outside the complex - apparently it comes twice a day but we never saw it in the two weeks we stayed there. On the whole it was a good holiday and the whole family enjoyed it. Thanks :-)

Balcones de Chapperal is 25km from Malaga Airport. Beach is within walking distance. Local village of El Faro is immediately adjacent to Balcones del Chaparral. athis has several Restaurants, Bars, a Supermarket, Pharmacy, Internet shop and some other stores; there is also a small serviced sandy beach. The local village of La Cala with its sandy beaches and the shopping town of Fuengirola are five minutes drive in opposite directions. Golf courses and racecourse adjacent to apartment complex. Sierra Nevada mountains, for skiing in Winter and hiking in Summer, are approx 2 1/2 hours driving distance. Beautiful historical cities such as Granada, Ronda, Seville and Cordoba are all within driving distance and make for enjoy-full day trips, as do Gibraltar and a trip to North Africa.

Golf: There are a large number of Golf Courses within easy reach. El Chaparral course is within walking distance and the several courses around La Cala are within 4km

Ski: Skiing in the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort from December to March is about 2 hours away, near Granada.
