TRADITIONAL VILLA IN NAOUSSA – PAROS ISLAND
- LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE FISHING VILLAGE OF NAOUSSA (1 MIN WALK FROM THE PICTURESQUE PORT)
– 400 sqm GARDEN & PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL
This historical villa was originally built 300 years ago and fully refurbished with full respect to the Cycladic architecture, while incorporating all modern facilities. The villa is located at the very center of Naoussa, 50 m from the seaside and only 1 min walk from the picturesque fishing port. The villa has three different entrances, isolated from the summer crowd of the cosmopolitan village, offering peace and at the same time easy access to the colorful nightlife of the island. An earthly paradise in the center of Naoussa village.
In April 2015, Spiti Valia has undergone an extensive renovation/redecoration of its interior, with full respect of the villa’s traditional Cycladic character. The renovation included, among others, new beds/mattresses/linen, new colorings, bathroom renovation, curtains, furniture.
Besides its traditional architecture, what makes this villa unique is its marvelous private garden (400 sqm) & swimming pool, giving the chance for a swim away from the crowded beach and a night relax, enjoying the views of Naoussa. So close yet so far from the summer crowds of Paros !

Spiti Valia is the only villa in the center of Naoussa village, with a private pool & garden
We spent a marvelous week in this beautiful villa in the center of Naoussa, and would go back in a heart beat! The villa was lovely: clean, spacious, cool, and comfortable. The pool and garden were wonderful and truly, one-of-a-kind, to relax in (spent many hours lounging in our little "secret garden") and we were literally steps away from shops of all sorts: coffee, crepe, clothing, grocery, jewelry, cocktail, restaurants. Also, there were at least 3 beaches that were walking distance (one about a minute away!) from our home.
Our hosts (owners) were extremely helpful and accommodating and were available to help us get anything we needed: car, beach umbrellas, towels, etc. A fantastic home and place to stay. Absolutely no complaints at all. Our family of 6 stayed here for 7 days and created memories to last a lifetime. Perfect home, outstanding location, wonderful hosts, great island! FYI, we also visited Santorini and Mykonos and although beautiful for sure, Paros was our favorite by far!
This is without doubt the best holiday we have ever had in Greece. I can't rate it highly enough.
The villa is stunning, with a superb location. My husband loved the fact that it dates back to 17th century, and while it retains the traditional architecture and period features, it has been renovated to the highest standard and is fully equipped for modern day living. A truly unique villa in the most gorgeous setting.
The host Nikos and his lovely parents assisted us during our stay, and they couldn't have been more welcoming. A wonderful example of Greek hospitality at its very best.
The villa was incredibly spacious and homely. It was impeccably clean when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the pool and spent our days in the garden, although I've been told that there are some beautiful beaches very close by. We dined out every evening as the villa is so central to excellent restaurants, bars and boutiques. In saying this, the villa is tucked away in a narrow street so once inside you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, its the best of both worlds! We also felt very safe staying there and the locals were very kind to us.
During our stay, the pool and villa were cleaned twice by a lovely Greek lady who went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our visit. We couldn't have asked for anymore.
Thank you so much for everything Nikos, we hope to be back next year!
We were so comfortable here that for the first couple of days we only left the property to eat! The house is, as advertised, historic, a little funky, and in keeping with the surrounding architecture, but amenities have been added and, for example, every room has a mini-split air conditioner. The best parts are the pool and outdoor living areas, which are walled and very private, despite the location in the heart of the old port resort town. Mere steps out of the gate you are in the midst of a pedestrianized maze of cocktail bars, restaurants and boutiques, as well as what felt like our very own little food market, literally 75 feet from the house. Despite the central location, the house, with its incredibly thick walls, is quiet, with only the faintest of thumping music audible from the various late-night clubs. We had a very warm welcome from the Athens-based owner, who not only showed us around the house and grounds, explaining the appliances and systems, but also took us on a little tour of Naoussa itself, pointing out his favorite places to eat or have a drink. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and plan to return one day!
We had a really lovely stay at Spiti Valia! It is a nicely restored antique property with lots of character and interesting details. It is right in the middle of Naoussa, few steps away from all the charming boutiques and restaurants. So, when you step out of the house you find yourself immersed in the calm and lazy rhythm of this historical town, and few meters away from your boat ride to the beach. In the house, there is a good size pool surrounded by a garden of geraniums and bougainvilleas and their characteristic bright colors. Really pleasing to the eyes and the soul. We were six adults and my 4 year old daughter and we all enjoyed spending our mornings by the pool, sipping coffee and having an early swim. In the garden there are many places to be and enjoy the breeze in the shed, especially during the hottest hours of the day. The house has lots of different interesting spots. There is a terrace on the second floor by the bedrooms, which is a nice outdoor access in the early morning; a rooftop where to enjoy a prime view of the sunset before hitting the restaurant down the shore. The rooms are mostly nice, maybe a bit smaller and barer than appears from the pictures. The stairs are also steep and without protection, which is not ideal for couples with young kids or for elder people. But at the end we managed well even with our little daughter who agreed not to climb any stairs. All and all, we had a great time. The house has lots of character and charm and the owners' grandparents, who welcomed us at arrival, are very kind and warm. The home-made marmalade and Greek wine were a really nice touch, which made us feel at home. Nikos, the owner, was also very helpful, and even though we did not meet him in person he was very responsive and available over email. We would certainly like to stay at Spiti Valia again if and when we'll go back to Paros!
My wife, twin 13 year old daughters and I Loved this Villa. In the amazing village of Noussa it was an incredible authentic Greek villa experience. Reading near the pool under the Bougainvillia was as good as it gets. The house is traditional - at the end of one of the many alleyways in the village. Out the back gate was a path to the Grocer which was like going back in time. Beach was close and the shopping and restaurants in Noussa are amazing - especially for a village of its size. Right ouside your door. The house itself was spacious for our group, beds were comfortable and all linens were great. Everything worked well. Kitchen was a favorite hangout. Internet was not super fast but consistent and adequate. Pool was deep, cool and refreshing. House was cleaned mid stay, and yard was cleaned daily. House has steep stairs to upper floor which may be challenging to an older person. And as you are in a tightly-clustered village you can hear the late night disco music from one of the upstairs rooms. I wore earplugs on a couple of occasions. That being said, as an authentic village villa stay, we were more than satisfied and would recommend it to relatives and friends.
This Spring our family spent ten lovely days at Spiti Valia. Our hosts were delightful and very helpful. The home has been meticulously restored and is very comfortable. There is a split floor plan that offers privacy for all. It truly felt like home. One of the best features is it's location in the middle of the beautiful village of Naoussa. Within walking distance of everything you need everyone can be independent. I highly recommend a stay at Spiti Valia and we hope to return next year.
