Traditional Pool Villa in the Center of Naoussa

Bedrooms 3
Space 2,152 sq. ft.
Property type villa
Minimum Stay 4 - 7 nights

About the property

Villa, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6

This historical villa was originally built 300 years ago and fully refurbished with full respect to the Cycladic architecture, while incorporating all modern facilities. The villa is located at the very center of Naoussa, 50 m from the seaside and only 1 min walk from the picturesque fishing port. The villa has three different entrances, isolated from the summer crowd of the cosmopolitan village, offering peace and at the same time easy access to the colorful nightlife of the island. An earthly paradise in the center of Naoussa village.

In April 2015, Spiti Valia has undergone an extensive renovation/redecoration of its interior, with full respect of the villa’s traditional Cycladic character. The renovation included, among others, new beds/mattresses/linen, new colorings, bathroom renovation, curtains, furniture.

Besides its traditional architecture, what makes this villa unique is its marvelous private garden (400 sqm) & swimming pool, giving the chance for a swim away from the crowded beach and a night relax, enjoying the views of Naoussa. So close yet so far from the summer crowds of Paros !

Oasis in the heart of town

  • 5 of 5

We travelled with 2 infants and a child and loved our visit. The location within the town was amazing and we were able to pop out and quickly return if one of the kids needed a nap or we forgot anything. While greek beaches are fabulous, the pool and outdoor space was great for the first few days to overcome jetlag. You can definitely hear the beats from the nightclubs if you leave windows open which was necessary in the smaller upstairs bedroom because the AC unit in that room wasnt strong enough. The owners really accommodated our check in/out times. Highly recommend!

Lovely Villa in Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful week long stay with two friends. The house affords much privacy with 3 bedrooms , 3 bathrooms and is very clean. The outdoor area is beautiful and well maintained. We spent many enjoyable hours at the pool and eating under the arbor. We had visits from a couple of neighborhood cats that we wanted to bring back home to the US. We loved that the great restaurants and shops were just a two minute walk away. It was very hard to leave after a week. We will be back! Thank you for your hospitality, Nikos.

A wonderful house and pool garden.

  • 5 of 5

Spiti Valia is a wonderful house and pool garden at the end of a cul-de-sac right in the heart of Naoussa Village.

A real oasis hidden away but oh so convenient for shopping, restuarants and taxi transportation.

We will definitely stay there again.

The perfect vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a marvelous week in this beautiful villa in the center of Naoussa, and would go back in a heart beat! The villa was lovely: clean, spacious, cool, and comfortable. The pool and garden were wonderful and truly, one-of-a-kind, to relax in (spent many hours lounging in our little "secret garden") and we were literally steps away from shops of all sorts: coffee, crepe, clothing, grocery, jewelry, cocktail, restaurants. Also, there were at least 3 beaches that were walking distance (one about a minute away!) from our home.

Our hosts (owners) were extremely helpful and accommodating and were available to help us get anything we needed: car, beach umbrellas, towels, etc. A fantastic home and place to stay. Absolutely no complaints at all. Our family of 6 stayed here for 7 days and created memories to last a lifetime. Perfect home, outstanding location, wonderful hosts, great island! FYI, we also visited Santorini and Mykonos and although beautiful for sure, Paros was our favorite by far!

Owner's Response: There is no bigger compensation for our efforts than knowing we offered a memorable vacation to such a nice family (a family which included some mermaid members, literally !) All the best Nikos Stergiotis

A little bit of paradise in Paros

  • 5 of 5

This is without doubt the best holiday we have ever had in Greece. I can't rate it highly enough.

The villa is stunning, with a superb location. My husband loved the fact that it dates back to 17th century, and while it retains the traditional architecture and period features, it has been renovated to the highest standard and is fully equipped for modern day living. A truly unique villa in the most gorgeous setting.

The host Nikos and his lovely parents assisted us during our stay, and they couldn't have been more welcoming. A wonderful example of Greek hospitality at its very best.

The villa was incredibly spacious and homely. It was impeccably clean when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the pool and spent our days in the garden, although I've been told that there are some beautiful beaches very close by. We dined out every evening as the villa is so central to excellent restaurants, bars and boutiques. In saying this, the villa is tucked away in a narrow street so once inside you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, its the best of both worlds! We also felt very safe staying there and the locals were very kind to us.

During our stay, the pool and villa were cleaned twice by a lovely Greek lady who went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our visit. We couldn't have asked for anymore.

Thank you so much for everything Nikos, we hope to be back next year!

Beyond our expectations – idyllic, yet close to the action

  • 5 of 5

We were so comfortable here that for the first couple of days we only left the property to eat! The house is, as advertised, historic, a little funky, and in keeping with the surrounding architecture, but amenities have been added and, for example, every room has a mini-split air conditioner. The best parts are the pool and outdoor living areas, which are walled and very private, despite the location in the heart of the old port resort town. Mere steps out of the gate you are in the midst of a pedestrianized maze of cocktail bars, restaurants and boutiques, as well as what felt like our very own little food market, literally 75 feet from the house. Despite the central location, the house, with its incredibly thick walls, is quiet, with only the faintest of thumping music audible from the various late-night clubs. We had a very warm welcome from the Athens-based owner, who not only showed us around the house and grounds, explaining the appliances and systems, but also took us on a little tour of Naoussa itself, pointing out his favorite places to eat or have a drink. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and plan to return one day!
