Why Cynthia & Gustavo Bulgach chose Venice
We saw the potential in this gem, a nice big lot, in an up and coming area 20 years ago. Who knew that the area would host the biggest tech companies and become the center of LA? We built the guest house in 2010, and landscaped the back yard into the lush, modern style is it today.

Great location and all you need
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do. We were very impressed with the neighbourhood as it was very peaceful. The accommodation had everything we needed and was clean and welcoming on arrival. The only comment I would make is that it was unclear to us as to whether we could access the hot tub which was covered and tucked away at the side. However this didn’t affect our stay.
Cynthia is the ideal host. quick response when you need something. The apt. is clean and comfy. The deck is gorgeous. highly recommendable.
It was truly a pleasure hosting Angela, she couldn't have been a better guest! Our place was left in perfect condition. Hope we see her back again!
Architectural walking around our area is entertaining since we have such a wide range of architectural styles. There is the Venice Architecture Tour once a year, and other areas have their own as well. Malibu has one in October that is great.
We love to ride on the beach bike path. You can go from Venice to Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades to the north, and down to Manhattan Beach to the south. There is also the option to ride along the LA River towards Culver City. It is nice to stroll down Abbott Kinney and shop or get a coffee at Intelligentsia, or Zinque. The Venice Canals are a must-see. Or check out the walking streets of Venice, just on the West side of Lincoln, at Superba.
