Outstanding El Cerrito Hime

This is an exceptional home in a great neighborhood. Amenities inside were perfect for a long weekend stay. It's a beautifully decorated home that made us feel very comfortable. Walk or short drive to hiking, restaurants, and other destinations makes it a terrific location. It was nice to stay a short drive from Berkeley (the purpose of our trip) so we could have quiet evenings away from the campus atmosphere. The owner was extremely communicative, helpful in identifying the best dates for our stay, proactive in leaving recommendations for local haunts, and always quick to respond. This may be the best VRBO value we've encountered and is now on our list of favorites. It is a place we'd like to return on one of our frequent visits to the Bay Area. We obviously can't say enough good things about this host and his home. Highly recommend.

Charming house in neat area

This comfortable house is decorated well, with several outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy views. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well appointed. Owner was responsive and left us a bottle of wine and snacks. Highly recommend.

Artists home with view of the city!

We loved everything about this home. The owner has excellent taste, the artwork and collections are beautiful. The location near and above Berkeley with a city and bay view was wonderful. It was rainy on our stay and we looked forward to snacks and a movie in his cozy TV room. Can't say enough positive about this home, location, view, beyond tastefully decorated, owner easy to communicate and priced fair. Thanks Steve, we loved it.

Wonderful stay in El Cerrito

This property is probably the best rental we ever had. We stayed with family for 4 days and everything was perfect and beyond our expectations. It was very easy to communicate with Steve and he responded promptly. His place is impeccable, charming with very artistic flair and offers all the desired amenities. The kitchen is very well appointed, spacious and super clean. The bathrooms and bedrooms are similarly great. We did not get to enjoy the outdoors since the weather was incredibly wet and windy, unusual for California but the garden/ landscaping was absolutely beautiful. We would return and tell our friends to book here.
