About Young Kim
I live in San Francisco, and am originally from Houston, then Los Angeles. I am a UCLA Bruin and have been a Bay Area residential mortgage lender for the last 9 years helping clients obtain financing for their homes. I am an avid scuba diver, purveyor of good food and drink, and a lover of all things guitar related and the consummate beach bum.

Why Young Kim chose Belize District
At the recommendation of friends, I arrived at Caye Caulker to dive and relax. As soon as I got off the water taxi, I was greeted by white sand, warm crystal blue water, sunshine, friendly locals, no paved roads or cars. I walked over 20m over to The Club to check-in and didn't realize it is right on the beach! Fast-forward through the next 4 days and the diving was simply spectacular. In the remaining hours of the day/evening, I was able to sit in the shade with a cocktail and read. Or just lazily walk down the split and dive in for a swim. I was able to truly relax and be away from the busyness of the grind. I booked my stay at The Club because it was very close to the Water Taxi and dive shop and I was being lazy. During my stay, I got to know the staff: Scott, Reese and the crew and they made my stay super easy and enjoyable. So much so that I bought 2-units for myself and my family and friends to relax and experience one of my favorite spots in the world.
What makes this Condo unique
This is the best place to begin exploring the 2nd largest reef system in the world. Centrally located, a short-boat ride will take you to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark-Ray Alley, The Great Blue Hole (look it up), Turneffe Atoll and Elbow, etc. The snorkeling and scuba diving is just world class - and I've done my fair share of diving. The local favorite dive shops have well-trained local divemasters who genuinely care about the reef and its residents and it shows in their interactions. Or, you can just enjoy the blue water from the comfort of a beach chair, hammock, bicycle. Need a little more activity? Deep-sea fishing, Kayaking, Bike riding, Paddle-boarding, mainland Zip-lining and hiking in Mayan ruins are all easy accessible via the numerous tour groups. Food: If you like seafood, you came to the right place. Lobster, Shrimp, and Fish here are fresh as are the conch fritters when in season. I always spend a few evenings hanging out at Maggie's Sunset Diner watching the sun go down over Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Shrimp, Coconut Rice and Curry and several cocktails. Feel like Barbecued Chicken/Fish/Shrimp/Lobster? Pub fare here is solid: burgers, fries, fried shrimp, pizza. There are more refined options as well, but I'm a huge fan of - Nicer Italian, Island, Seafood establishments. There are spots along Front Street in front of the water where you can get a load of food and dine al fresco. Late night: Tacos and Burritos from the local stand - delicious. There are also convenience stores everywhere stocking everything from Cup of Noodles to Produce and frozen food. Drink: Stop in anywhere for a cold Belikin Beer or a tasty cocktail. Happy Hour generally starts everywhere at 4. Cocktails here are stiff and designed to put a smile on your face - word of warning - you may need to ask them to go easy on the fruit juice and rum. ;)

Perfect location just steps from water taxi ferry terminal. Beautiful views of ocean. Comfortable
We loved staying here. If you enjoy dogs, there are two that are owned by the Club owner and they are so gentle and such a delight. Their names are Mama and Papa and we would often find them camped out at our door. They followed us everywhere mostly because we encouraged it because we loved them so much. Get them to take you to the evening street vendor by the basketball court selling the most delicious burritos and queasadias. As a treat, we would buy two wieners for them. They would prance around so happily and full of gratitude. It was a beautiful experience, beautiful island, delicious food. You must eat dinner at the Happy Lobster. 10/10. We are definitely coming back here.
