About the property

65m2, 3 rooms ground and 1st floor duplex comfortably accommodating 4 guests

If you plan vacation or business trip in PARIS, be our guest in this unique duplex full of history, just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower (10 minutes) in the 15th arrondissement of Paris in the border of the 7th and the Champ de Mars.

This 65m2 three rooms ground and first floor duplex can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. Is featuring on the first flloor one bedroom + two single beds on an open mezzanine and on the ground a large living room with an open kitchen.

A nice story to tell: the ateliers d’artistes hosted engineers that designed la Tour Eiffel.

The building is unique, it was built by Eiffel at the end of the 19th century, to host engineers that created the Eiffel Tower. The “ateliers” were later converted into 4 loft style apartments. We have been leaving there for more than 10 years.

It was just fully renovated in fine Art Deco style: large white stained-glass windows (designed by famous artist Ronald Penell), furnitures and paintings.

The duplex:

- romantic and quiet, the independent bedroom has a large queen size bed (160x200) fitted with quality bed sheets, pillows and a duvet to guarantee a good night sleep. It has large storage spaces.

- the mezzanine is overlooking the living area and has two single beds (90x190) and a desk with an iMac;

- the fully equipped kitchen is circled with a bar opening on a large living area with a dining table for 6 and a lounge area with one sofa and two armchairs ;

- there are 2 bathrooms: the one downstairs with shower and toilet, the one upstairs with bath, toilet and washing + drying machines.

Wonderful Host

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time in this beautiful apartment with a very responsive host. We traveled with our elderly parents so accessibility in the apartment and to transportation was very important. The RER train station was an easy walk and brought us to all the major sites. Jean-Christophe and family have thought of everything to make his guests feel comfortable. He was even willing to arrange for our transportation back to the airport. Thank you!

Grandpa and Grand daughters

  • 5 of 5

What a great place. I took my Grand daughters to Paris after a visit to Normandy.

The apartment was just great, near good shops and grocery stores. Once you walked around a bit you got the lay of the land and it was perfect.

Yes only a short walk to the Eiffel tower and park, just great.

The apartment it self was neat and clean with all anyone would want

for a stay in Paris, close walk to the Bus 69, you can look that up.

Jean_ Christophe has done a great job and maintained the property well.

Thank You

I would tell anyone to stay there, I know I will again in 2019.

Lovely

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was just lovely and the hosts were helpful but not intrusive, they were able to find a good and appropriate balance. While the other reviews said it was unbearably hot in the summer I'd say it was reasonably hot. After our first day we learned how

To do this or that to ensure it would be as cool as possible; such as keeping the main blinds drawn and cracking the upstairs window and leaving the small AC on when possible.. yes it could have been cooler but really it could have been hotter so we were happy. Would definitely recoomend and stay again! Thank you for the wonderful place to stay!

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

We just recently stayed at this apartment in Paris. The location was great!! A 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, grocery store right around the corner, a wonderful bakery that had amazing croissants just one block away, we could not have asked for a better located apartment for our needs. I would recommend this arrangement for a family with kids, probably not for two couples. The bed arrangements were a double in a private room with a bathroom ensuite and then two twin beds outside in an open loft area. kitchen was well appointed, full sized appliances. (ie dishwasher, stove). great washer AND Dryer (very unusual to have a dryer). All in all, a great stay.

A beautiful piece of history!

  • 5 of 5

We were so pleased with this charming loft apartment. It was roomy and comfortable, and clean. The location was great, a 13 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, and a 4 minute walk to the Metro. The owner was very nice and helpful to us. He even arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at 5:30 am. Because this building was built by Gustavo Eiffel for his engineers, I felt like the spirit of the Eiffel Tower was here. Thank you Jean-Christophe for a wonderful stay!
