Like the Red Bar Picolos Restaurant with authentic jazz music from the Red Bar Jazz Band [Tuesday thru Saturday] and a Blue Grass / Reggae sound from the Dread Clampitt Band [Sunday thru Monday]. Also, across the street from Picolos Red Bar is Chiringo's Bar and Grill, with a variety of talented musicians as well.

Our two on-site bikes will carry you to the Point Washington State Forest to the north or east/west on the scenic 30-A bike path which leads to a plethora of additional local art, food and music.

Be sure to visit Seaside, just minutes away on the bikes and along the way, take some time to breath in the beauty of Grayton Beach State Park.

Classic Grayton Cottage offers laid back old school vacation

  • 5 of 5

Great house, perfect old school cottage. affordable option and a fast walk to the beach. What more could you want in Grayton beach house, but a classic 1930's style cottage in paradise. This beach house is not for the people who need the home away from home type vacation but rather if you seek out the laid back "beach" cottage thats shabby cool--you can't go wrong with Grayton Presence. Also Jim is great to work with who manages the house! Book it with confidence if you like old school summer vacation homes.

Charming Grayton Beach cottage

  • 5 of 5

After two plane rides, arriving at this quaint beach cottage was a welcome respite from hectic, everyday life. The rooms were airy and open, the beds comfy, the backyard warm and sunny for morning coffee, loved having a coffee grinder as I brought fresh beans from home, outdoor shower was awesome, beach chairs were great - loved the backpack feel - made it so easy to walk to the beach, privacy of the cottage was appreciated, loved the decor and best of all - the location was great! Was minutes away from the beautiful , white sandy beach and turquoise water of Grayton and so close to the Red Bar and other local shops. We loved the fact that as we explored Grayton and surrounding beach communities, we never drove more than 20 minutes! What a relaxing beach getaway... this ocean girl from snowy Minnesota can hardly wait to come back :)

How do you review heaven on earth?

  • 5 of 5

Old Grayton Presence is a short stroll to the beach, shops and dining in the laid back village. Accommodations were on point from arrival until we reluctantly checked out. The five of us (including two teens) were never cramped, lacking any amenity or bored in the two-bedroom, two-bath cottage whose lagniappes include front and back porches with comfy seating and swings. The outdoor shower is amazingly refreshing after a day in the sun (we used it more than the indoor showers). The cottage is on a main street, but you feel secluded in the lush greenery as the heady smell of Jasmine relaxes you into beach life. I commend the attention to detail down to the cozy interior décor and modern appliances plus exterior BBQ grill, beach cart and two bicycles that encouraged exploration of Grayton Beach State Park and the beach towns along the 30A bike path. Sunset on Grayton Beach is magical; we saw 5 stingrays, starfish, and more crabs than we could count. While there are McMansions springing up around the perimeter, I commend the community for maintaining the quaint cottages and old Florida charm. The only complaint I have about Old Grayton Presence is that I had to leave.

Great Getaway

  • 4 of 5

We just returned from our stay here. This cottage is well-furnished, comfortable, clean, and convenient. We along with our two young children stayed a week here and it was everything we had hoped and more. The outside shower was terrific after returning from the beach. The beach is only a one- or two-minute stroll from the front door. Two very different bar/restaurants are just around the corner, giving you a choice of either a quieter atmosphere or live music and spontaneous dancing. As a woodworker, I appreciated the antique bed frames and tables. The large kitchen table allows for ample room for even a large family. The owner is great to work with and very attentive to the property and any needs you might have. This property is our new "go-to" for Grayton Beach. We will be back, and we highly recommend it.

Loved Our Grayton Experience

  • 5 of 5

We recently returned from almost a week in Old Grayton Presence. This quaint and charming house was perfect for our family. It was well-located--close to the beach, Red Bar, and all Grayton Beach has to offer. The outdoor shower was awesome. The owners were outstanding to work with--very friendly and helpful. We are already looking forward to another visit to this area and staying at this house. It was truly laid-back and relaxing. What a wonderful experience!! Highly recommended!
