Bungalow Oaks - Steps from Historical Sites on Main Street

Two-night minimum/Four-night maximum.
Built in 2018 as a “guest house/dream come true” next to our main residence - we are located one block from Main Street. Short walks to restaurants, popular creekside microbrewery and convenient to shops and local eateries. Our Bungalow Oaks has an attached carport, and the main room has a king-size bed next to a massive antique armoire. A separate bathroom with a walk-in shower and antique vanity has all the privacy of home. The coffee bar has a small refrigerator, an ice maker, a pod-type coffee maker and a microwave. For morning and evening relaxation there are two oversized rockers on the back porch for bird watching and deer viewing along the dry creek below.

They thought of everything...and then some!

I've stayed in many rental properties and this place is exceptional! The bungalow is close enough to town to walk, it is welcoming, comfortable and just down right adorable! As we sat in the rockers on the back porch, coffee in hand, overlooking the many trees and wildlife, it was a hard decision whether to stay or head into town. Marsha and Pat were the nicest people and very accommodating!

Oasis in Salado

We came for a military reunion and truly enjoyed this space. It was relaxing and our only regret was not being able to stay longer!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!

This property is 'The Spot' for a couple that want to enjoy Salado. The location is absolutely perfect to walk to local restaurants, live music venues, local boutiques, Salado Creek.....pretty much everything. The hosts have dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's for sure. The bungalow is very private and peaceful. The back patio is a perfect place for coffee in the morning which was provided by the hosts. They have also provided an ice machine, mini fridge, microwave, some snacks, bottled water, to name a few. The bed was amazing! Heck, even the towels were amazing. This is one of the cleanest and nicest places my wife and I have stayed in to date. We will be back again for sure. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Charming Bungalow

So cute and just perfect for the two of us. Comfy bed and pillows, and mini kitchen amenities, including ice maker. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and saw several deer the morning we were leaving. Certainly hope to stay again when visitng family in the area.
