Finca Can Mos is an impressive 4 bedroom villa situated in probably the most prime location on the edge of Pollenca Old Town, just 900m from the Plaza Major yet having one of the most peaceful countryside settings opposite the historic Roser Vell Chapel. Together with its own Roman spa style indoor pool this really does make this Finca something special.
The house is a Mallorcan stone finca on high ground with all around mountain views. It has the Puig Maria directly in front with the Colonya valley to the side and backs on to the mountainous ridge that runs at the back of the town. In the distance is the valley of Cala San Vicente and the bay of Puerto Pollensa where you can just about glimpse the sea.
A private gateway leads down a sweeping gravel driveway to a parking area in front of the villa. Steps lead up to an arched front door and into a lovely reception area. Directly in front is a full glass picture window looking out onto the patio and gardens with a door to go outside. There is a wc bathroom here with washing machine and dryer. The fitted kitchen is to the left with blond wood units and cream silestone work surfaces. There is a breakfast bar with a stainless steel island hood over a vitro ceramic hob, split level oven and fitted microwave and a large American side by side fridge freezer. Windows look out onto the terrace and there is also a door here leading outside. The breakfast bar partially separates the kitchen and there is a lovely breakfast area complete with table and chairs.
Finca Can Mos has retained all its original character and there are open stone walls, high beamed ceilings and spotlights throughout, together with its multi-floor accommodation you get a real feel for its historical past. The floor is slate grey and the walls are painted in warm colours. The quality of the furnishings is outstanding and there is so much detail gone into this villa to make it exceptionable. Its fresh and modern without being minimalist. There is a large open plan lounge dining room with large dining table, flat screen tv and a wood staircase leading up to the bedrooms. There are also double doors leading out to a small covered terrace where there is a table football perfect if you fancy a bit of shade!
The stairs lead to bedrooms all on different split levels. The first bedroom is up the stairs to the left. There is a double bedroom here with wood floors and an en-suite shower bathroom with large walk-in shower.The next level leads to a fantastically large double bedroom with huge bed that has wardrobes placed to divide the room into dressing area and sleeping area. There is an en-suite full bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and a double large walk-in shower. A further level leads to a lovely twin bedroom and then a further level leads to a really large double bedroom (two single mattresses together) this room can could easily fit two extra beds. There is a separate shower bathroom for these two upper bedrooms. The stairway itself is of open Mallorcan stone that has been painted white giving an unusual texture that is very eye-catching.
Boasting a spacious raised terrace overlooking the pool and gardens with a large palm tree in the middle to give shade. The terrace is partially covered and there is an exterior dining table and chairs for outside dining that is reached from the kitchen area.This upper terrace, with a covered goldfish pond, is an ideal place for older children to play as there is so much space for them to run around.Wide stone steps lead down to the fantastic pool area and lawns. There is just so much space here for all the family to enjoy this area. The gardens have lovely orange and lemon trees and pretty flowers and shrubs.
Down several steps, from the pool area, you will find the entrance to the magnificent indoor pool suite. The owner has really pulled out the stops to create a roman-spa style oasis to be enjoyed all year round. With its spa pool with a separate fitness room with a running machine, two bikes (one spinning) and abdominals bench, it also has a fitness high pressure jet and a corner fountain feature, dressing area and a shower bathroom with large walk-in shower it s all reminiscent of a mini hotel spa. With all the fantastic features and space at the Finca Can Mos, a holiday here is perfect at any time of year.

Had a fabulous week, this place is divine! Large, spacious, immaculately maintained house split over 3 floors with huge bedrooms and bathrooms, not to mention the fantastic views. All the comforts and modern conveniences of home including a good wifi connection, you’ll want for nothing. The crowning glory of this lovely property being the outside space, again beautifully maintained, well thought out and lots of it, made good use of the pool although there were an awful lot of wasps around. We hardly left the villa during the day time and for us, it was a 15 minute stroll down to the square in the evenings. We didn’t make use of the gym so cannot comment on it’s working order.
I didn’t find the lights harsh in the kitchen and the cleaners came mid-week for a tidy up and replaced the towels and bedding. Would return to Can Mos in a heart beat.
