This Loft is the ideal location for getting acquainted with the city. The outdoor courtyard with fountain is the perfect place for afternoon drinks, or morning coffee. The famous High Cotton Restaurant is also located within the building. There also free private wifi access. We also have two flat screen tv's 40' with wifi blue ray player, that can access the internet, and netflix. You can watch your own Netflix account from the loft.

Being in the heart of downtown Charleston the loft is the perfect location to start your Historic Charleston Vacation. Having an interior courtyard location, it is amazingly quiet, while still in the heart of it all. Exterior shared courtyard space is a major bonus. We also provide a free garage parking space, one block over, saving you money on daily parking fees.
2 flat screen tvs, Wifi blue ray player, that will allow you access to your own netflix acct. DVD player in bedroom loft, Double size sleeper sofa, with extra soft pillow top matress. Plush 17' pillow top queen bed in the loft bedroom. Full kitchen.
We appreciated the new mattress. Helen and I both prefer firm mattresses and this one was much better than the old soft one. We slept much better. Also, the new combination lock is so much easier than the old key box. :)

Great place! Close to everything in Charleston! Property had a nice Loft and Big Kitchen! Also had free Parking! Will rent again soon. I have already told 3 friends about the property. I cant wait to go back!
The unit (known as The Loft) is located in a nearly perfect and idyllic spot on E. Bay St. in Charleston. It is walking distance to most of the famous and historic sites in the city as well as many great restaurants. There is a large grocery store about 10 minutes walking from the unit as well as a small wine store. The unit has a great layout with comfortable furnishings and a well apportioned kitchen. We had breakfast in the unit each morning and were able to brew a nice cup of coffee and make eggs and toast with no issues. We also cooked dinner one evening for our children so we could go on a two hour date at the nice restaurant and bar next door. The complex has a lovely patio area where we relaxed several times in the evening during our stay. Ashton was a fantastic and responsive host who answered all of our questions in a timely manner and answered all of our questions leading up to our stay. Again the unit was fantastic and I will rent it again when we come back to Charleston.
Highly recommend staying here for your vacation next time you're in charleston! The location is perfect as well as the free parking pass!!! We brought our bikes and we we're able to see so much of downtown than we ever could've with driving and parking. Being one block down from the market puts you in the middle of all the fun!!! Can't wait for the next time we can book!!
Your loft at Lodge Ally was wonderful. Roomy, well equipped, comfortable bed, clean, nicely decorated, a great courtyard to enjoy a glass of wine in the afternoon or coffee in the morning, but most of all...a GREAT LOCATION (and free garage parking)!! We parked Thursday and never got in our car until we left on Sunday. It was incredible being able to walk out our door and either venture down East Bay Street to the Battery, or go the other way and visit the Market area...and everything in-between. Great restaurants all around us. We ended each night on a different roof top bar to enjoy the sunsets.
The owner was easy to work with and responded quickly to all questions/inquiries.
We look forward to staying here again. I also will look into the owners other VRBO locations.
I would definitely recommend.
PS - I do want to mention that the bed and bath are located upstairs in the loft and a fairly tight spiral staircase has to be used. May not be a good location for very small children or seniors.
The location of this property is perfect for easily exploring Charleston. Located in the midst of great local sites, restaurants, and the bay. The property is spacious and comfortable. Very quiet and serene. We would definitely come back and stay here.
