Worked Out Fine
The main house had a wee daylight basement area that smelled funny and had a floor blower going as if it had gotten wet and they were trying to dry it. Couldn't tell if the concern was fungal so we didn't use it. I also wasn't aware that there weren't inside stairs connecting the main floor to that sleeping area. So the other couple used the casita, which worked out fine. It was cozy and warm and not too difficult to get to.
The kitchen was nice. Initial supplies were there as advertised.
There is construction going on a lot away, but once inside the house, you don't hear it.
All in all, I'm guessing that this would be a really great place in the summer. And we had a good time visiting and seeing the local area.
Thank you for staying with us, Forrest! We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed the home. We hope to provide you with a fantastic stay in the future!
Great lakefront home 30 mins from Chelan
My husband and I and our two friends really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront home on Lake Chelan. The property offered a lot of privacy for two couples (including a detached Casita with full/queen bed) and with plenty of room to spare. The only downsides were that the showers were super tiny and it was a solid 30 minute drive into the town of Chelan. But if you're looking to hang out on the lake and don't plan on spending much time in the town, this is a fantastic spot to do it. There's really great outdoor deck space, complete with a gas grill, which we enjoyed using. The weather did not permit for water activities this weekend, but we did venture down the steep stairs to check it out. There's no dock and the stairs leading down to the water are a bit tricky to maneuver (and slippery when wet). Would be absolutely perfect if they added an easier way to get in/out of the water, but it is technically doable today. We would definitely come back!
