The Fulton Street Express Subway hub is steps away!!! 10 minutes door to door to Times Square. This is where you want to be. Directly across from the brand new 5 Beekman. Google it!
There is so much to see! The apartment is located on Nassau Street and is located between Beekman and Ann streets.
Love to make our guests feel at home.
Lee Tachman purchased this apartment in 2009
Its in the middle of it all and now has become the hottest area in New York!
This apartment was in a great location with subway only steps away. It is in great conditon and was very clean on arrival. It looks exactly as seen in the pictures and the customer service provided by owner was excellent. We had a great stay in NYC and would highly recommend this apartment.
We stayed for the second time after 5 years in this apartment, with our 3 teenagers. Not only the location is just great, close to everything, but the apartment itself is huge, modern and quiet and great value. We also appreciated a lot the kindness of Lee to allow us to stay a few hours longer as our flight was only in the evening and we had several luggage to store.
Thanks again Lee and Ann Marie.
We just left today after a four night stay. The apartment is exactly as pictured. We had a new sofa delivered on our first day, which was very nice. The location can not be beat! There was a lovely Irish pub around the corner where we had dinner one night and my whole family really enjoyed it. The only issue one might need to know is there is only a 30 gallon water heater. Only 12-15 minutes of hot water. Got this info directly from Lee after I texted him our first day when we ran out of hot water. There were 5 people so showering was in stages. Other than that, we loved staying here and would come back again. Also, Lee was very responsive to texts and even let us check in early.
The good aspect of this place (apt. #2) was the location; other than that it was unsatisfactory. The furniture is worse than a college apt. Photos show brightly lit bathrooms; hallway bathroom lighting is dim at best (what effort does it take to put in higher voltage bulbs??!). The black leather couch in the photo is torn on both sides and completely leaning to one side (see previous reviews mentioning this couch). We checked in on Tues. evening, and Lee said a new couch would probably be delivered Wed.; when that didn't happen, we waited and texted him Thurs. (he won't take phone calls), and 4 hours later he replied that it would be delivered Friday … which never happened, nor did he follow up. In the same text we had let him know that the front bathroom hot water faucet doesn't even turn on; he didn't reply to that so we texted him again, and he never answered. The other black couches are low cheap foam. There was black mold surrounding a ceiling vent about 6" all around (hallway); small back bedroom doesn't have light except for one unbalanced wobbling floor lamp that doesn't even have a switch, i.e., you have to crawl on the bed and lean down to plug it into a loose electric socket ; towel bars were loose with cheap caulking that didn't hold. Back bathroom toilet bowl is stained; random lightbulbs throughout the place needed replacing; accordion screen in front of the washer / dryer hangs out in the hallway, 'cause it doesn't even have a track, nor does it fit into the wall. When we stripped the first bed to wash the linens (instructions upon leaving), the mattress was so gross that we didn't even strip the second bed; sheets were old and so thin you could practically see through them. - Owner response was negligible. - The 4 of us have stayed in plenty of vacation rentals and agreed that this was terrible. - Offering this accommodation takes work, attention and heart, of which this places reflects zero.
The condo description was accurate. Our group consisted of 4 adults. We loved the fact that each couple had its own bedroom and full bath. We appreciated that the condo was well-stocked with paper products and basic kitchen items. The full-sized refrigerator with an icemaker was perfect for breakfast items, afternoon drinks, and to hold leftovers from restaurants. We loved having a kitchen to fix coffee and breakfast each morning. The condo is within walking distance from several major attractions and provided a great place to relax in the afternoon and reinvigorate for evening activities. We found a few good restaurants within walking distance of the condo - for burgers, Italian food and barbecue. We would highly recommend staying at this condo. The owner was available for help if needed. A wine shop is located conveniently next door, and there are two grocery stores within a couple of blocks. Several subway stops are also located within a couple of blocks. We highly recommend staying here!
What a nice apartment in such a great location! We were impressed with how quiet it was, especially in the bedrooms! The property was clean, well-maintained, and we felt safe (even arriving after dark). The a/c worked very well. We were thankful for the proximity to the subway, a short 3 minute (or less?) walk! CVS was convenient for groceries (we stopped there daily!). World Trade Center was just a block away; we really enjoyed exploring downtown. The Brooklyn bridge was also very close! We will highly recommend this property to any friends/family visiting the area. Thanks for a comfortable stay!!
