About this property

At the heart of Cancale but away from the crowd, in a garden and fenced, you will discover a beautiful haven backed a beautiful house of character. In a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere, you will choose to explore all the strengths of our coast, and there are many, or enjoy quiet moments in the shade of a cherry tree as a parasol. We are located 2 minutes walk from the beach and coastal path that will lead you to a side port of Houle (15 mn) and the other to the tip of the Groin and even Saint Malo, if you like big and beautiful walks. The village, restaurants, bars, shops and cinema are 3 minutes away from the house. We will be happy to welcome you and advise you, if you wish, so you make the most of our beautiful region.

Fabulous

Our terrific hosts Kathy & Husband made us very welcome to this beautiful and stylish Gite with lovley gardens and all of the facilities required all in a great location. If we return to Cancal again we hope we are able to stay here once again.

Nice house in a great location

The location is perfect, in a very nice residential neighborhood on the edge of the center of Cancale. The wonderful Sunday Market starts just a block from the house. Walk to the center of Cancale in minutes. Or walk to the sea in a few minutes and follow the coast path to the Port. This is a small house attached to the owner's home. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining area, living room. No TV, wifi signal is not strong. Bathroom with shower downstairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom. You have your own garden area with nice outdoor furniture. The garden is beautiful. This is a very nice town to stay in. Three or four good cafes in the center, a small Carrefour grocery, two very good bakeries, a good fruit and vegetable shop. The port, 10 minutes down a steep road from the center, is lively and full of restaurants and cafes. We had a good dinner at Chez Victor. The nearby beaches are fantastic, it is a short drive to Saint-Malo, Dinan, Dinard, Mont St Michel. We had a lovely week in Cancale.

Charming Cancale

Wonderful hosts, property in peaceful neighbourhood of Cancale. Ideally located for the Sunday Market , short scenic family walk to Cancale Centre and the Port to embrace the Oyster culture with a bottle or two of chilled Muscadet on the beach, and amble back. Beautifully maintained property and garden , suitable for us with two small children.

Gîte parfait pour des vacances agréables. Propriétaire très sympa et l’emplacement près des commerce

Séjour à Cancale reposant. Gîte très bien situé près des commerces et de la mer. Très bien équipé et propre. Jardin magnifique les propriétaires adorables et de bons conseils. Très belle région. Nous avons adoré.
