The sheer size and character of this beautiful house overlooking the vast expanse of Sandymount Strand on Strand Road where the houses (which rarely come on the market) are spacious with gracefully proportioned rooms. Our architect did a magnificent job retaining the feel of a period property yet creating individual separate and totally private apartments on the ground floor of the house which was built in 1898.
The unique benefits of this property are its fantastic location..In the most sought after Dublin neighbourhood. The large exclusive properties, mostly 18th and 19th century are owned by politicians, lawyers, executives and internationally acclaimed artists and poets! All whom chose this special road because of the fantastic Strand opposite the houses. plus the proximity to the city step and the gorgeous quaint Village Green . Just step across the road to enjoy bracing or cooling walks on the sands and refreshing sea breezes ...Hard to imagine we are only minutes from the very heart of Dublin City!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your wonderful apartment. The views are just spectacular, and it was great to hop a bus into the city in such a short time. Everyone was real friendly and the 'Village ' is just so quaint. We found so much to do.MB.Maine.

My husband and I went to Dublin for the first time in Sept, 2017. While reviewing accommodation options this property jumped out at me. I loved the location away from the downtown, the proximity to the ocean and the previous positive reviews. Iverna was fabulous from the first contact and didn't disappoint. She was prompt in responding, accommodating when our schedule changed and full of great ideas about activities while visiting. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. I enjoyed watching the tide come in and out everyday. Sandymount was a very nice with all the amenities needed ie restaurants and grocery store all within walking distance. We used public transportation; the bus and dart were both very easy to use and access. We would strongly recommend this property and intend to return ourselves to experience Iverna's hospitality surrounded by the beauty of Ireland.
I stayed at the beautiful apartment for three months .The hosts were most discreet and charming. As I rarely saw them, when I was invited for drinks it was delightful and relaxed. After London, Sandymount was a beautiful retreat, I feel rejuvenated and intended to return again and again. Thanks. Laurence hughes

See my five-star review, "Another great stay" (Shelby C.), from 2014 for details. I just returned from my 6th visit in 4 1/2 years, and yes, Seaview is just as brilliant as ever! The cozy upstairs apartment truly has become my home away from home. The views of Sandymount Strand and the Irish Sea are breathtaking and ever-changing. The tree-lined neighborhood, village, and village green are idyllic. Transportation options to Dublin and up and down the coast are easy and plentiful (never needed a car in five weeks!). Iverna is a most gracious hostess. Beautiful house, beautiful location, another perfect holiday!
The skylights were stunning, the view from the window amazing. We were very comfortable and found every where we wanted to go was easily access from the bus stops very near by. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
This is a wonderful apartment in a great location. The apartment was charming, spotless, filled with light. The bed was very comfortable. I stayed there for a week in June 2015 with my daughter. We made use of the kitchen for breakfast and lunch - shopping at Tesco in the village. Getting to the apartment from the airport was a breeze and we went into the city everyday on the city bus. We enjoyed staying a little outside of the city and mingling with people in a neighborhood outside of the tourist zone. The view from the apartment is wonderful. We enjoyed walking along the strand and felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. The customer service from Iverna and her staff was excellent. Very easy arrangements. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends.
