Meadow Wood Mews is an extremely attractive comfortable, quiet and well appointed studio apartment situated on the first floor with a view over open countryside. The apartment is self contained with off road parking and is accessed by a private front door and staircase. It is ideal for one or two adults requiring a location within walking distance of the town centre.
The kitchenette is fully fitted with an electric oven with grill, ceramic hob with an extractor fan, fridge with freezer compartment, stainless steel sink, microwave, breakfast bar with 2 stools, and a 32' slimline TV with built in DVD player.
The living area has a desk, two leather reclining and revolving chairs with matching footstools and a coffee table.
The sleeping area has a a king sized bed with memory foam mattress and side tables, a double wardrobe with mirror doors and drawers for storage. There is an Ipod dock & digital alarm clock. Wifi is available.
There is a separate en-suite with toilet and wash basin with heated towel rail and electric shaver point. a glass door leads to the tiled shower cubicle which has a Mira electric shower.
The property benefits from electric heating, is double glazed and fully insulated.
Pershore a charming market town on the river Avon, it has ample space for parking and is accessible by car in five minutes, alternatively by a 15 minute walk. It boasts a host of amenities. The Abbey is well worth a visit as is the Community Arts Centre which has a programe of shows and films. The town has a Leisure Centre with swimming pool and gymnasium and also has a programe of activities . Pershore has an array of individual shops and cafes as well as an Asda supermarket, Tesco One Stop Shop, these and an indoor market open Wednesdays to Saturdays for fresh bread meat, fish and local produce.
There are two garages within walking distance of the property with shops selling newspapers and convenience goods.
Pershore has a very good selection of restaurants from fine dining at Bell House to superb Thai, Fusion, Chinese and Indian cuisine. There is also available a home delivery of Pizzas and Indian food details of which are in the folder on the desk. A wide selection of take away food is also available which includes Fish and Chips, Thai, Indian, Chinese, and Turkish Kebabs.
We have lived in the Pershore area for over 40 years.We purchased their home Meadow Wood from the builder in June 2013. It is on a small development on the outskirts of Pershore and came with a room designated as a Home Office over the detached double garage. We have recently undertaken conversion of this to a Studio Apartment.
Diane was a Physiotherapist in Worcester and Pershore for many years. Rod describes himself as a retired entrepreneur.

Pershore is. Ideal for touring the West Midlands. Close to Cheltenham for shopping and race days. Close to Malvern for the Three Counties Show, Spring and Autumn Garden Shows and numerous other events. The Elgar trail start on the other side of the River Severn near Worcester.
Broadway, The Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle are within easy driving distance. The National Exhibition Centre is just under an hours driving distance away.
There is a railway station at Pershore with links direct to London (under 2 hours) & Worcester from where you can connect to Malvern & Hereford, Birmingham and the West Country. There are also excellent local bus services to Worcester and Evesham.
There is easy access to International airports London Heathrow & Manchester are less than two hours away, Birmingham and Bristol less than one hour. The Scottish borders can be reached in around four hours.
There are several National Trust and Heritage Trust properties within a short distance, the closest of which is Croome Court.
For sports enthusiasts there are several golf courses with a 10 mile radius, Tennis Courts, and a bowling club, sailing and windsurfing within 3 miles, clay pigeon shooting, archery, off road driving and carting within 8 miles.
The area is renowned for it's walking and cycling routes with plenty of beautiful countryside and river and canal pathways to explore including the Millennium Way which is almost on our doorstep.
There are lovely walks beside the river Avon, local woodlands and wetlands.
You can even relax in the middle of Perhore at Abbey Park where you can watch the squirrels at play or in Avon Meadows with it's lovely views over the river, where you can watch the passing leisure boats, ducks, swans and waterfowl or walk in the adjoining wetlands.

You would be hard pressed to find a more convenient location for touring the West Midlands, enjoying local history and local walks, cycling, good food and good pubs within walking distance.
The appartment's listing was very correct, it is well maintained, it is not just wonderful and lavishly equiped, it is spacious, one could stay there all year round. Its surroundings offer peace and quiet, yet it is within walking distance of Pershore's centre, shops, etc. The Hoyles are adorable. No effort to please their guests is too much for them. Still, they do not impose themselves. Recommend it to the full. HomeAway should be proud to have it on their list! Sincerely hope to visit again, no other place in the Cotswolds, which we have come to know very well.
We stayed for 3 weeks in June.
We found everything we could have imagined to be present in this small flat. Small but certainly big enough for 2 people.

We have just returned from a week's stay in Rod and Di's lovely apartment. Comfortable and well equipped the accommodation is really quiet with views over fields and yet just a short walk into the town with all its amenities. Provides an ideal base for exploring the Malverns and wider area.
We would stay here again and will recommend to our friends.
Rod and Diane are excellent hosts. They were available without hovering, and they went above and beyond to help us out when we had a tire puncture (on a weekend, of course) to get someone to pick up the tire, replace it, bring it back and mount it for us so we could go on with our vacation. Getting to know them was a highlight of our trip.
The property matched the listing and was clean and well-maintained. It was very comfortable for our two-week stay. We would definitely recommend it.
Pershore is lovely town. We enjoyed Evensong at the abbey and many evenings at the Angel pub, where we found good food, good beer, and good service. The town center is a pleasant walk from the property, so after a day of driving out to explore the area, it was a treat to walk into town for a nice supper.
An excellent studio apartment - everything you need is provided. This is obviously newly furnished and immaculate and the bed is very, very comfortable!

Changeover days will usually be Saturdays although we will be as flexible as we can . Occupation from 4pm on day of arrival. Property must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Bookings will not be confirmed until a deposit of 30% has been received. However if the booking is made within six weeks (42 days ) of the commencement date then the full amount will be due.
