Howth Lodge is fantastically placed close to the bustling village of Howth and within short walking distance of Howth DART station, which offers a regular train service to Dublin City Centre.

This luxurious apartment is fitted and furnished to the highest of standards and offers spacious accommodation comprising large entrance hall with Italian marble floor leading to large living room cum dining room with access to sunny balcony with outstanding views of the bay. There are two large double bedrooms with ample storage. The master ensuite is fitted with a jacuzzi bath and separate shower unit and the main bathroom has a large double shower and fully tiled floor and walls with Italian marble. The balcony is well positioned to make the most of the stunning sea views throughout over Ireland's Eye and, indeed, the surrounding coastline. The property has surround sound and underfloor heating throughout. The apartment is in a private gated development with secure underground parking and private access to the beach to take a leisurely stroll.

Window and balcony views are breathtaking

When you enter the apartment you see Irelands Eye (island), Claremont Beach, and the city Howth. The livingroom/dining room/kitchen/beds and baths are of good size. We did find the bedding to be a bit uncomfortable (if you have back issues). However Marian acted as quick as possible to provide extra padding for the bed. The building and grounds are well very kept. Easy walk to Howth where many restaurants, and fish markets are available. We hope to stay again in the future.

Great location! Very nice spacious apartment

We really enjoyed our time in Howth, I highly recommend this area for anyone looking to stay a little bit outside of Dublin. The location of the apartment was close to the DART station to take in and out of Dublin and a quick train ride. We also enjoyed a round of golf at the course across the street and the village is great for dinner and hiking! Marian was very responsive to our initial inquiry and questions.

The place was very big and the two full baths were great to have as well. I will say a good deep clean is probably needed as there was sand throughout the apartment, but you are right next to the beach, so that could be expected :) We enjoyed the patio in the morning and the beach access to the village was very nice. We also had issues with the wifi while we were there similar to the other reviews, which being in a foreign country is sort of a must have in your home base to contact family, etc, but overall the apartment is a great place to stay and very secure!

Nice apartment, great views

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The views of the bay from the living room are wonderful, and I found it a pleasure to leave Dublin's hustle at the end of the day and return to peaceful Howth. We didn't have a car, and the walk to and from the train is about 1/3 of a mile. My only complaint was that we faced a very unpleasant security guard when we first arrived who didn't want to let us in. Thankfully a passing neighbor helped us out by calling the owner who convinced him to finally to let us in. After that, the stay was very pleasant and Marian was very accommodating.

Excellent apartment

We stayed here for three nights and the apartment is well situated to get the DART into Dublin but still has that fishing village feel. I could have stayed here for a week. Our three days went far to fast. It is a gated community with 24 hour security and walking distance to the harbour and excellent restaurants. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Would certainly book again.
