Perfect stay in Provence

Our family had two weeks in this wonderful villa in Lourmarin. The villa was perfect, fantastic eating space outside and we have never seen such a clean and fantastic pool ! Lourmarin is a lovely place, lots of places to eat out and shops and markets to visit. Great cycling location. We had such a perfect time, didn't want to come back to the UK, Thank you.

Modern home in beautiful Lourmarin

Stayed for two weeks at the end of August 2019. We booked at the last minute (3 days before) & so knew little about Lourmarin. Couldn't have been happier with the area (house is about a 5/10 minute walk into the village), the village is a real gem. lots of great places to eat, Le Numero 9 was our favourite with Pizzeria Nonni also worth a visit. Lovely food market on Tuesday evenings & a big market which takes over the villages streets on a Friday. I would also recommend Bee's electric bike hire ( we had never been on an electric bike before but are now complete converts, make going up the hills a complete breeze) Hired for 4 hours & followed the guided map through local villages & vineyards - Great fun. The house itself is great, the pool & gardens are big enough that our 2 teenage boys where entertained. It even was its own boules court & ping pong table. Inside the house has a nice modern feel. My only complaint would be that the water pressure in the master bedroom was a bit weak. This meant that the water flow from the rain shower ( not a fan of these at the best of times) was no better that a light drizzle, so you have to use the hand held hose which isn't great. Overall a great house in a lovely french village.

Im Grossen und Ganzen top

Das Haus ist sehr schön, der Garten ebenso. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und die Boule-Bahn in gutem Zustand. Die Lage ist perfekt, schön ruhig und doch nicht zu weit vom Dorf entfernt. Die Aussenküche war das grosse Highlight. Wir haben Sie rege benutzt. Einzige Kritik: Das vierte Zimmer ist extrem klein und unkomfortabel. Für erwachsene Menschen ist das Bett zu kurz und auf dem Boden zu schlafen ist auch nicht so toll. Für 6 Personen ist das Haus top, für 8 Erwachsene wegen des 4. Zimmers nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Fantastic stay in Lourmarin!

My family and I stayed at the property for two weeks in July 2022 and had a fantastic visit. We would gladly return in the future! The property description and photos were fully consistent with our experience. There are multiple positives to note: * 7-10 min walk to Lourmarin, a lovely village in the Luberon with many restaurants and 2 weekly markets (Tues night and Friday), plus easy access to surrounding wineries and picturesque villages * Air conditioning in the house * Lots of amenities onsite: swimming pool, petanque court, outdoor bbq grill, etc. I would also like to thank the owners/hosts for being so communicative and friendly. Our check in/out process was quite efficient, and they went out of their way to help us when a bracelet got stuck in the pool filter! There were also pool floaties onsite which were wonderful for our 3.5 yr old daughter. Thanks again!
