The apartment is located just 100 metres from the beach in St. James, being fully equipped it boasts modern décor, a landscaped garden and two outdoor swimming pools.

This modern apartment ,has a double bedroom and an additional large bed settee in the lounge area ,. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher and washer dryer as well as a comfortable seating area. Folding doors open out onto a large balcony with views over the pool and to the sea, this is furnished with a dining table and chairs as well as comfortable chairs in which you can relax and enjoy the views. In a landscaped garden area immediately in front of the apartment is a large swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. The complex offers a secure entry system and private car parking.

Guests who want to cook at home will find a supermarket within a 5-minute drive, and can also take a short stroll to Weston Fish Market which provides a daily supply of fresh local fish The area also offers a variety of dining options, many located within 1 km.

If you opt not to drive there is a bus stop situated outside the resort where a regular bus service can take you round the island .

About sarah long

we are an active couple living in devon in the uk. we have three childen who are all at present studying at university. we bought the apartment at lantana because we loved the holidays we had taken in Barbados. Barbados is a really beautiful, friendly island with a lovely climate all year round. we will certainly be using the apartment again this year as we never tire of the area which has given us such a wealth of experiences and great of our highlights being swimming with the turtles. ( see photo )

Why sarah long chose Weston

we chose the apartment at lantana as it was a brand new development being built on an attractive area of the west coast. There are only about 45 apartments in the whole development which lends it a peaceful and laid back feel.Being only 100 metres from the beach adds to its attraction . With both Holetown and Speightstown only 5 minutes drive the complex is well connected. The bus stopping directly outside gives a choice as to whether or not to use the car.

What makes this apartment unique

we viewed a number of apartments within the complex but fell in love with this one because of the light airy feel . Due to its position in the block the apartment is much more spacious than other one bedroomed apartments and has large folding doors opening out onto a lovely balcony . The views are great !!!!

We provide an on site key box so there are never any worries about you being able to access the property on arrival . Our property manager lives nearby and can always be contacted in the event of any problems occurring . She will also pop in and introduce herself during your stay . If you wish she can also shop for groceries . For this service you would pay her direct on your arrival .

Lovely apartment, good location

Great modern apartment, very clean, fully functional kitchen. Light and airy. Loved sitting out on the balcony.

Excellent experience with communication with owner.

Property manager in Barbados was extremely helpful.

This apartment helped us have a great base to have the most wonderful holiday.

I would recommend and use again in the future!

Lovely bright and clean apartment

This apartment was very clean and bright with everything one requires for a comfortable stay. It's central location between Holetown and Speightstown was a bonus. We hired a car but buses ran close by and frequently. We will be back.

Fantastic holiday

Absolutely beautiful apartment on the middle floor of the Lantana in Weston St James. Well equipped, lovely furniture and air conditioned which was absolutely needed as the temperature outside was 34! We travelled all over the island after hiring a car. Lots to see and we will definitely be back next year.

The local beach at Alleynes bay is a 2 minute walk from the site whilst many other well known beaches such as Glitter bay,and Lonestar to the south and Mullins bay and Gibbs beach to the north are also within walking distance. There is a good fishmarket about 400m from the apartment selling the daily fresh catch. Holetown is a 5 min drive to the south here you will find restaurants ,barsand a fine bakery/patisserie. The Lime Grove Centre has many designer boutiques includingRalph Laurenand Armani Exchange. Holetown also has many stylish coffee shops,bars and a variety of restaurants, as well as a well stocked supermarket. Speightstown,5minutes drive to the north is the islands second largest town.Here there is a fish market on the seafront, fruit and vegetable sellers on the road side,restaurants ,bars and shops . there is also a reasonable sized supermarket.

Barbados Wildlife Reserve is only 3km away while Royal Westmoreland Golf Course and Folkstone Marine Park are both a 5 minute drive.

There are many places worthy of a visit on the island including Harrisons cave,an underground cavern with stalactites and stalagmites ,streams and a waterfall. For nature lovers Welchman Hall gully Tropical forest and The Flower Forest offer a vast selection of plants and flowers as well as attractive guided walks.The regular Friday Fish Fry at Oistins is a must for every visitor.

For sports lovers ,you can take a day out at the races , at Garrison Savannah or watch cricket at The Kensington Oval,and of course there are plenty of golf courses on which to play a round !

The island has the relatively tranquil Caribbean Sea on the west coast and on the east coast the invigorating Atlantic Ocean. Barbados is an ideal location for all watersports including scuba diving,snorkelling,jetskis,water skiing, surfing as well as swimming with the turtles.

Also for water lovers you can take a trip in the Atlantis Submarine or on one of the Catamaran cruises. Deep Sea Fishing is also very popular.

Barbados is known for its fine dining and there are many excellent restaurants situated on the west coast within a short drive of Lantana . These include Fishpot, Daphnes,Cin Cin, Lonestar and Tides.

If you just want to relax Barbados is of course famous for its numerous sandy beaches and coves as well as warm seas for just taking a dip !
