Stunning Sea View Apt on the Ramparts in the Old Town of Antibes

In a unique location with breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, mountains, sandy beach, Fort Carré and Port Vauban, you’ll experience a magical atmosphere here for your holiday. We affectionately call the apartment 'Place de Rêves' (Place of Dreams) as the building’s entrance is just off the ‘Place de Revely’ in the Old Town of Antibes. It is on the 3rd (top) floor in the building next to the former home of the artist Nicolas de Staël. The apartment has 2 balconies, 1 in the bedroom and 1 off the living room. The bedroom is Air Conditioned with a king-sized bed (160 x 200cm) and there is a large sofa bed (170 x 200cm) in the living room. The sunny and spacious living room comes equipped with a Roland digital piano overlooking the marina. Best of all, the Mediterranean Sea lies just outside so the views are quite stunning!

The apartment is located a one-minute walk through the Place de Revely and under the Roman arch of the Old City wall to the famous market called the ‘Marché Provençal’ where you’ll find fresh local produce. Within a few meters is the world acclaimed Picasso Museum where he worked in the 1940s and where you’ll find a stunning collection of his paintings and ceramics. Picasso painted his "La Joie de Vivre" in Antibes in 1946. Today, Antibes still embodies The Joy of Life.

Possibly the most perfectly-situated apartment in Antibes, you’ll find a large choice of restaurants, shops, and cafes within easy walking distance (2 minutes or less!). The apartment provides an ideal setting for a car-less vacation on the French Riviera. We can provide for pick-up and drop-off at Nice (NCE) Airport if needed at an extra charge.

The fantastic views make the open plan kitchen/living room/dining area a natural gathering area for relaxing, and cooks will appreciate the well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen includes an electric oven, electric cooker with glass hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, Nespresso machine, milk frother and coffee presses (cafetières) in two sizes. All fittings are high quality and the kitchen will have everything you need to cook fine food at home.

Whether you're lingering over a pain au chocolat and coffee on the balcony table-for-2 for breakfast or you’re proudly serving dinner made from fresh Provençal ingredients you purchased at the market on the dining table (seats 6), you’ll enjoy the ever changing views of the Mediterranean below.

The well-appointed bathroom has a shower, tub and towel warmer.

For exploring further afield, the apartment is a 10-minute walk to trains/buses to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, and the Nice airport. Ski resorts in the Alps are located within a 1.5-2 hour drive (Isola 2000 & Auron).

Your rental includes an "arrival starter kit" (toilet paper, paper towel roll, soap, coffee, tea, milk, wine and water), cleaning (unless otherwise specified), bed linen, towels, beach towels & beach gear, electricity, water, WiFi, and phone calls to fixed lines in most parts of the world (Europe, Continental USA and Canada) and phone calls to mobile phones in the continental USA and Canada. There are very few properties with this location in the Old Town of Antibes looking over the sea. As we have two apartments in the Old Town, we have decided to offer this apartment for holiday lets starting in May, 2014.

Wonderful Apartment in Antibes

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our 5 day stay and we made new friends with owners Jonathan and Judy. When we arrived, Judy met us and went over all the details and workings of the apartment. She explained how to use everything and shared with us the handy information binder they have prepared for guests. She was also very helpful with parking instructions. The apartment was very clean, well appointed, and had stunning views of the beach, harbour, and the Mediterranean. Lunch on the small balcony with a bottle of wine, courtesy of our hosts, was a treat. The apartment was stocked with Nespresso pods, jam, butter, bottled water, soaps, laundry detergent, beach mats and chairs, umbrella, board games and just about anything else we needed including excellent wifi! A short walk to the beach, the marina, the market and the centre of the Old Town made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Jonathan and Judy were very responsive to any questions when booking and during our time in Antibes, and our stay went smoothly. We highly recommend this wonderful apartment and Jonathan and Judy were very welcoming and genuinely cared about ensuring a great stay.

The best property in Antibes

This was our third stay in this apartment. We keep coming back because it must be the best place to stay in Antibes. The view of the beach (seen this year through new doors with the option of eating on the balcony - great upgrade!), the air con when its too warm to sleep and the market close by. It ticks all the boxes. And of course the hosts, Jonathon and Judy are the icing on the cake- making us feel so welcome and being so supportive. We give it 6 stars!!!!!!!!!! and will be back next year -please.

Absolutely perfect vacation in Antibes- best views, amazing apartment and exceptional owners!!!

We just came back from spending 5 perfect days in Antibes. The apartment has absolutely amazing views- we never got tired of looking at the Mediterranean, either through the balcony doors or one of the windows in the living room or kitchen. The location is perfect- so close to the beach, to the center of the old town, ice cream, restaurants, bakerys, grocery stores etc. And in the apartment, Jonathan and Judy have thought of pretty much anything, every single detail from binoculars to selfie sticks to cooler bag for the beach to a list of restaurant recommendations. There were four of us staying here and it was a perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids (kids slept on sleep sofa in living room which was large and comfortable!). We loved exploring the old town and going down to the beach right outside. The water was amazing!!! Most of all, we really cannot say enough about Jonathan and Judy. We have rented a lot of places and have never seen owners who are so attentive, helpful and welcoming. They truly went above and beyong to make our stay perfect! We got picked up from Nice and taken to Antibes by Judy, she was wonderful and gave us a great tour of the city and the apartment. During our stay, we were in constant touch and Judy even made reservations for us for dinner and at the beach club (we ended up not going because we liked the beach downstairs so much!). When our raft broke, a replacement raft was left outside our door the next day!!! Anytime we had a question, we got an answer right away! Jonathan took us to the airport at the end of our stay, and even had to borrow a car to do it. They were both wonderful!!! When we left Antibes we were heading to Paris, and this was the first time we were actually disappointed to go to Paris because we didn't want to leave. What an awesome place! We will definitely go back!!! Thanks so much Jonathan and Judy for an amazing vacation!!!

Brilliant location with the best hosts ever!

Every moment of our holiday was wonderful, from the warm and friendly welcome from Jonathan and Judy (the best hosts we have ever experienced), to the amazing location of the apartment which is no doubt the best in Antibes. The advertised photos certainly live up to expectations, in fact it's better in real life, the apartment is very well equip and everything was in perfect working order. We stayed for 2 weeks and didn't want to leave, why would you when everything was just perfect. A big warm thank you to Jonathan and Judy for allowing us the privilege, we will be back.

Beautiful view,,Great location

We couldn't have picked a better place to relax and enjoy old Antibes than Judy and Jonathan's place. The apartment was very well equipped, the air conditioned bedroom a welcome respite, and the view beyond compare. Judy was great- didn't get to meetJonathanas he was travelling. Will definitely be back.

Outstanding apartment in a great location with amazing sea views and the perfect hosts!

We have visited Antibes for many years but this is the first time we have stayed at Place de Reves. This apartment stands out from all others not just because of the fantastic views and wonderful apartment - what makes it special is the hosts. Jonathan and Judy go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to ensure you have everything you need. As soon as we arrived (Judy picked us up from the airport) we could see that this was a different level of service from the usual holiday rental. We would highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a fantastic apartment in a great location with the most amazing views as the perfect base to explore Antibes.
