About the property

Stunning cottage for two with magical views over Loch Tay & the surrounding area

Sky Cottage is a beautiful one bedroom cottage with stunning views over Loch Tay, only 2 miles west of the charming conservation village of Kenmore. Right in the very heart of highland Perthshire, this luxury semi detached cottage offers exceptionally comfortable and luxurious accommodation for couples looking for a special treat.

Upstairs, the spacious king bedroom faces south and has carefully positioned windows so you can lie in bed and watch the sun rise over Loch Tay. There's a lovely bathroom with under-floor heating and a walk-in steam room and shower.

The living room has a log burning stove, comfortable sofa and chairs. There is a flat screen TV, DVD player and hi-fi with i-pod and data port; plus plenty of books and DVDs. The kitchen is white and modern with deep work surfaces and soft close drawers, Neff hob and oven, fridge and dishwasher. The cottage is also equipped with a Hoover, a washing machine, airing cupboard and drying rack, ironing board and iron.

About Nina Deakin

We live in Scotland with our two young children and operate a holiday cottage business on the shores of Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands and a ski chalet business in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Our properties range in style, age and size - they range from boathouses, to renovated farm steadings to alpine chalets, but all have a great sense of homeliness, and beautiful views, as well as lots of little luxuries to help everyone unwind and enjoy their holidays, no matter how old or young they may be!

Why Nina Deakin chose Aberfeldy

Loch Tay is a fantastic location for holidays and there is so much to do in the area, no matter what time of the year. Sky Cottage can be reached in just two hours from Glasgow or Edinburgh and enjoys wonderful views over the shores of Loch Tay and the surrounding scenery. Whether you are coming to climb some hills and sightsee in the area or to simply relax in the beautiful house, you can't fail to have a wonderful time at Sky Cottage!

What makes this cottage unique

Loch Tay offers guests numerous opportunities for fishing (from the river shore), climbing (we are located close to a number of Munro mountains including mighty Ben Lawers), boating on the loch, visiting castles, distilleries, golf, and all just on our doorstep! The house itself offers a romantic and peaceful retreat after all of these activities, to relax at the end of the day and enjoy the most wonderful views of Loch Tay.
