This magnificent, elegant apartment is on the 6th and top floor of a well maintained ,bourgois building with a lift. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need to enjoy a self catering holiday on the Côte d'Azur.

There are stunning panoramic views of the famous Riviera 'Baie des Anges' from the spacious terrace.

The bright living room leads to the dining room and all have sea views.

There is a large bedroom where you can relax after a days sightseeing. The shower room is a good size,and the fully fitted kitchen if perfect for preparing the lovely produce that can be found all over Nice. Being perfectly located on the Promenade des Anglais with the beach directly across the road and close to shops and transport it has all the requirements for the perfect holiday.

This apartment ensures that your stay in Nice is a relaxed and comfortable experience.

Charming flat with one BIG problem

The flat backs onto a construction site. From 7.30am to 4.30pm we were subjected to drilling, banging, the noise of a giant crane positioning steel girders into place, men shouting instructions etc etc. As a result we were unable to open windows at the rear of the flat, despite the extreme heat.

Added to this, we were unable to use the small terrace for eating due to the fact that it had not been cleaned in a very long time. It was covered in pigeon droppings, feathers and general dirt. I pointed this out to Brooke Dresh and she agreed that it needed cleaning.

For these two reasons we feel that a rebate of £200 would be in order, and we would ask that a note of the construction site should be included in the description of the property for as long as the work continues.

Otherwise, it is a very charming flat, presented in a very clean state.

Fabulous Riviera holiday spot

I stayed 5 times in this apartment and loved it every time. The location is perfect for what I love doing the most on holidays - hiking, skiing, sea, water sports, wonderful hilltop villages, markets and great food. The Old Town and port is a nice walking distance by the Promenade and all other sites in Nice are easily accessible by good network of transport or walking if you up to it. I travelled to Isola 2000 in the southern Alps to have a day of skiing and it is only a 1hour 20 minutes bus ride away - fantastic.

The flat is very chic and comfortable and the balcony has the most wonderful view. I stayed in February, April, July and twice in September. Highly recommend it - next time I plan a trip to Corsica from Nice for a few days hiking and I plan to book the place again.

Great apt! Fab views! Well located. Will return

Wonderful apt! I have returned to stay there 5 times in the last 6 years. Perfect location; close to Old City but quiet, right on the Med! Loved eating on that balcony! Good supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. Lovely walk to Old City markets daily to get flowers and fresh foods! Loved nearby Bambou Beach Club (I look forward to eating their Moules!) Easy (and inexpensive) bus ride to airport, art galleries, train station, and parks, plus all the towns on the Med.

Great views

The property is located with stunning views.

The balcony overlooking the promenade is biggest attraction to this flat .

We loved interacting with the house keeper Brenda she was delightful and helped us with all Local info .

As we visited during peak summer, the flat was really hot . The bedroom needs replacement for the fan as it hardly moves . The other issue was insect bites , if u keep the window open we were terribly bitten

Nice apartment but...

It's a very pleasant apartment with absolutely fantastic views. The sitting room looks out over the water but none of the other rooms have views of any kind. That's fine because the sea vista makes up for that. The kitchen is basic and the décor rather traditional. I'm not sure crystal chandeliers are suitable for a holiday let and wouldn't be my taste but again they're OK. There's a huge TV with a few English language channels and very good wifi. The bathroom is modern and well fitted out though it would benefit from a bath tub as well as a shower but that's personal taste and it was advertised with a shower only. The bedroom is a reasonable size. There was nowhere to sit and put make-up on except a ledge in the dining area which is a shame but only a small niggle. The whole apartment was really clean and light. All those involved in the rental were charming and extremely helpful.

Now the downsides. In July you really really need air conditioning. But it was made clear that there was only a fan in the bedroom. It didn't work very well and simply moved around the hot air. If you left the windows open in the hope of a breeze you got bitten to death by midges. And there was no breeze. So beware if you're taking this apartment in summer. The next downside was the apartment's location along the Promenade. It was a long way out of the centre which is fine if you have a car or you're someone who likes to walk a lot. Buses are reasonably frequent but stop at 9.00 pm. Therefore taxis are difficult to find after this hour. There's little around the apartment.

For the space and view the apartment was reasonably priced so if you're a couple who like peace and quiet and don't mind a bit of cooking or a lot of walking and are immune to the heat, it's a good bet.

Lovely property

A wonderful experience from start to finish. All emails and questions are answered quickly and efficiently and you are met in person to handover the keys when you arrive.

The apartment itself is exactly as described in the advert. It is exceptionally clean, well furnished and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Limited viewing on the TV (buy you don't really go on holiday to watch TV!). There are even beach towels provided for you.

The beach is just over the road with a lovely beach bar - pricey - but that's what you expect for a beach bar.

Its a fair step into town - but there are banks, shops, chemists, supermarkets etc all within easy walking distance. Buses are frequent of you don't want to walk into town - but its a lovely stroll if you are able.

All in all - would recommend (highly) and hope to visit again soon. Many thanks Jane and Brooke.
