About this property

Victorian in a Great Neighborhood between Mission and Castro

Peaceful flat located on a one block street, comfortable, but beautifully designed. Enjoy an easy walk to major attractions (99 on the walking score, but street parking is a pain). 30 minute walk to downtown or Golden Gate Park, 5 minutes to Dolores Park, 5 minutes to Castro & blocks from Mission Dolores. Features a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, designer furnishings and a prized art collection. Looks onto a gorgeous well loved garden and has a dedicated deck. Only 1.5 blocks from the city's main transit artery (8-10 minutes to downtown) as well as major grocery store(s), outdoor dining, restaurants, pharmacy, and parks (Duboce and Dolores). Charming Edwardian property originally built in 1904, but remodeled to reflect the owner/designer's taste and to make you feel cosseted. The flat displays pride of ownership throughout, and even when I'm not hosting you, I'm available at most times.

Splendor in the Mission District
Let me start with the only complaint we had while we were there: we didn’t all get to meet you and none of us got to meet Trooper!! Now, I know it was because of our wacky schedule, so, in order to rectify the situation, we will have to book another tour and come back! That aside, our stay was charming, restful, quiet, serene, comfortable, a secret oasis in a busy world.........a home away from home, and we three fondly miss it. Thank you both for sharing your lovely abode with us and may good fortune chance to allow or paths to cross again one day. Fred, Ronnie, and Peter

Permanent student of life and culture. Avid gardener. Cook. Love to travel (!), share movies, food and wine with friends. I live in San Francisco, because I know it to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Why they chose this property

The property sits in the middle of a banana belt, offering some of the best weather the city offers

What makes this property unique

Quiet solitude but 99 on a walk score. On a sweet one block street but an easy walk to public trains/streetcar/buses. SF is Back! and as beautiful as ever. Central to points of interest. Nice outlook to garden. Designed with your comfort in mind. Leave your car at home and take public trans/UBER/Lyft/ZIP/flywheel or our recommended pro driver. Street parking is a hassle in this neighborhood and commercial parking is expensive.
