5 Star stay

  • 5 of 5

My nephew and I stayed at Mary's for 8 days and I could not have had a better experience. The location was perfect , close to all the attractions but in a very pleasant residential area. The apartment was spotless and everything we needed was there. We only had to walk a block to get to the Metro which took us close to all the attractions. If we had any questions Mary instantly helped us out via email or phone. I will be staying there again in the future, no need to look for any place again in Rome.

Excellent apartment, very clean and well furnished. Very close to the main sights of Rome.We enjoyed the efficient wifi, good AC, comfortable bed . We used the local grocery store and ate at two restaurants nearby.Maria Teresa gave us a lot of useful information on transport, sights and eateries. The apartment itself was full of charm and comfort, providing us with all of the amenities we required for a lovely and memorable stay. We have recommended Italy Perfect to our friends. We enjoyed our stay in Rome and will certainly be returning to Rome and this apartment again.

Wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and tidy, very well situated and is very easy to reach all the most famous places (Vatican, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon ... ) . The area has many good restaurants and supermarkets . A great place to stay and the price was very reasonable. The amenities make one feel right at home. There is a market close by,which makes it convenient to buy groceries if you want to prepare meals in the apartment. The flat was really clean and we felt like they are in a hotel as Maria Teresa pays attention to all details !Maria Teresa was very prompt in responding to all of my communications. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome!

Terrific Owner and Fine Apartment; Okay Location.

  • 4 of 5

We liked this apartment, and dealing with Maria Teresa (and her assistant Alina) was wonderful. Alina met us and showed us the apartment and how everything worked. Maria Teresa was very accessible and helpful during our online transactions and arranged transportation from the airport and to the train station (definitely a must for this apartment). Based on some of the reviews, I was concerned that the bathroom would be too small. It is narrow, but a fine size. The shower itself is very small, only about a square meter, and it is a little hard to keep the water in with only the shower curtain, which also extends about five inches into the already very small space. The shower would be greatly improved with a glass door. The apartment has a nice though small kitchen, very good AC, and very comfortable beds. It was clean and pleasant. What we didn't love about this place was its location. If you look at a map of Rome and see the Vatican city, it is on the other side of the Vatican, farther from Rome. (Bright side: it's very easy to get to the Vatican Museum.) The apartment is located on a busy, isolated street. To get to a neighborhood with commodities, you have to walk down hill about 10 minutes and then walk down a staircase with about 80 stairs. (Or you can continue down the isolated street to a neighborhood at the bottom, about fifteen minutes away.) The little neighborhood has a wonderful gelateria at the bottom of the stairs with some of the best flavors we saw in Italy, restaurants, a pleasant well-stocked grocery store about four blocks away, etc. The subway stop Cipro (Linea A) is another five-minute walk away from the bottom of the stairs (and another long staircase down to the station). For reference, it takes about 20 minutes once the train arrives to get to the Spanish Steps and about 50 minutes to transfer and get to the Colosseum, if the trains are prompt (and sometimes we waited 20 minutes+ for a train. Also, when we were there in the middle of high tourist season, the trains stopped running in the evening to Cipro at 9:30.) Of course, at the end of the day, you have to reverse all this walking uphill and climbing all those steps. It was very hot in Rome when we were there, and this extension to the day was not fun. All in all, this is a great place for visiting the Vatican and a so-so place for visiting Rome.

Excellent family accommodations for a week in Rome

  • 4 of 5

We recently spent a week at Terry's house apartment. The apartment lived up to all the expectations. It was exactly as described, quiet, clean and all the amenities you will need for your stay (linen, laundry facility, iron, wifi, etc.). Very comfortable for our family of 4 (10 and 13 year old children). A/C was a big plus as it was quite hot. Mariateresa arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, the driver was waiting even though our flight was late. I strongly recommend the pick up option!! Alina met us at the apartment even though it was quite late and went through all the features and answered any questions we had.

The apartment is conveniently located near the Vatican (walking distance) but away from the main entrance and the crowds. Very near to a metro stop, lots of good restaurants nearby, gelateria, cafe, etc.

We highly recommend this apartment.
