Located in the heart of the 9th district, only a stone throw from the Gare du Nord train station (Eurostar and Thalys), this charming apartment has been decorated with an eye for detail. It comprises a lobby, a living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, a single foldout bed, a dining table and chairs, a bedroom with a double bed and closets, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, coffee machine, Nespresso machine, boiler, toaster, kitchenware), a bathroom with a shower and as much hot water as needed, a separate wc.
Despite being located in one of the "bohemian-bourgeois" hotspots of the city, the apartment is very quiet at night as it overlooks a private courtyard and not the street.
Situated on the quiet and elegant rue Milton, next to the the upscale rue des Martyrs, it's particularly close to Montmartre and the famous Opéra Garnier (very close itself to the Musee du Louvre); There you can enjoy the shopping mecca of Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, and the luxury jewellery stores from rue de la Paix and Place Vendome, among many others.
The rue des Martyrs is lined with traditional food stores (boulangeries, patisseries, chocolatiers, charcuteries, boucheries, wine cellars, fromagers), fruit and vegetable stores, organic food stores, trendy cafes and restaurants.
The nearby theaters and museums (I strongly recommend the Musee National Gustave Moreau, a hidden gem of a museum, formerly the artist's home and studio, and the Musee de la vie Romantique, where you can enjoy tea in the little, old fashioned garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets) make the whole neighborhood very lively.
You can park nearby (less than 5 mn walking) in a secure parking (charges apply): Parking Saint Georges, 20 Rue rent bikes (velib) in the street.
The keys will be handed to you directly at the apartment.
Towels and bed linen are provided.
Fast WiFi, cable TV.
Many metro and bus stations around : Notre-Dame de Lorette, Anvers, Cadet to name a few.
