About the property

Located in the Raval 5 minutes from Universitat Metro and San Antoni. Quiet neighborhood with all shops. Apartment renovated with private elevator comfort. A 10 minute walk from the Boqueria, Ramblas and Cataluyna plaza.

In the heart of Barcelona's Raval district, within walking distance to many points of attraction of the city, our home has a capacity louse 2 to 4 people, it is equipped to provide every comfort. The decor done by an artist seduce you! Direct access to housing by private elevator. A completely renovated building. Possibility of arriving late at night without charge. The room is located on the rear of the building and is very quiet. The living room also overlooks a quiet pedestrian street.

We will not be there to welcome you, but we will be handing the keys by friends or explain how you get them. We will give you after booking made some useful information about the apartment.

Other information

If you arrive before check-in time (15h) or resume a flight much later than your check-out time (11h), you can leave your luggage set in a small restaurant "Komo in Kasa" St. Joaquim Costa 3 (Tel: 93170 August 69). It is 400 meters from our accommodation. They ask you as 5 € per day and large luggage.

Getting to the apartment:

From the airport you have the Aerobus (5. 90 € / person) which drops you off at Plaza Universitat and a 5 minute walk to get to the shelter. 2 metro stations (Universitat and San Antoni) are within 5 minutes walk. The street is pedestrian and so there is no parking vehicle possible in the street but there is a public parking 400 meters in Ronda San Antoni. Taxis can still move to drop you outside the building through the Calle Joaquim Costa. We must join the Ronda Sant Antoni (300 m) to park on the street if you have a vehicle. A taxi from airport costs about € 30

Rules of Procedure:

1. Never leave home without your keys because you find yourself locked out.

2. Respect the tranquility of the neighborhood and do not make noise after 22:00

3. No smoking inside the housing.

4. Pets are not accepted.

5. Celebrations with people outside the home are not allowed.

6. Stop the air conditioner when you leave the house.

7. Do not block the elevator to your floor.

8. If you lose a key, you should call the emergency numbers listed below or call in a locksmith (see number on the front plate). Know that we will retain the deposit € 125 deposited on Airbnb for each lost key.

9. Any damage or theft will be reported at Airbnb and your deposit may be retained in part or full.

10. Remove your trash when you leave the apartment permanently. There is no common bins for the building. You need to use the city of garbage that are a few tens of meters right out of the building.

11. The check out is at 11:00 am at the latest. Leave the keys 2 (of the elevator and the door you found on the shoe cabinet) on the small shoe cabinet in front of the elevator when you finally leave the house and put the game 3 Key in the Lock Box.

12. Do the dishes and tidy.

13. Leave the apartment tidy with the furniture in the place where you found it upon arrival.

14. We accept no liability for theft occurring in the apartment and we advise you to check with your insurance company that you are covered in this case. We offer you a safe and can recommend it to keep all your valuables when you go out.

Perfect apartment for two

The Ravel is a lively, multicultural, arty district only five or so minutes walk from touristy The Ramblas. This modern apartment is on a quiet side street minutes from shops, bars and restaurants. It is clean, well equipped and comfortable and has the added bonus of the lift opening directly into the apartment. The owner Lionel was extremely helpful too. All in all, the perfect place to stay.

Beautiful city and amazing apartment

Thanks so much to Lionel for renting us his wonderful apartment. The unit is beautifully decorated, and is very clean and modern. We loved having the elevator that opened right into the flat. The apartment is located in the heart of the old city...about a 10 minute walk to Plaça Catalunya, which is the starting point of La Ramble, and stop No. 1 for both the red and blue lines of the hop-on, hop-off busses. There are vast numbers of restaurants, stores and coffee shops within a few minutes walk.

If you have a car, there is some street parking but it is limited. You are best to use one of the underground lots. The closest one is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

This apartment was our 4th VRBO experience, and we have no problem rating it a 5+.

Great, well-located apartment

We truly enjoyed our 3 nites in Lionel's place. A short walk from where the airport bus makes its stop. All that need is nearby. The elevator which opens directly into the apartment saves carrying bags to the 3rd floor. Will surely stay again if we are back in Barcelona.

Perfect location, quiet and convenient

This appartement is very well located. You can walk everywhere: central point of interest, bars, tapas, shops, convenience stores, cafés, ramblas, etc. Metro station at 600m. Aerobus drops you off at 4 minutes walking distance. Can't ask for more if you are looking to stay in an area where the young and cool people hangout. Its close to bars but still quiet. Except when there is a party next door until 4:30 am! The appartement is Nice, clean and well decorated and Lionel is a very accessible host. The stand up shower is nice and the water is hot and steady. However, the flat is a little humide and the air sanitizer dispenser are noizy and annoying for going off every 9 minutes. It was waking us at night so we turned it off, but then noticed a smell of sewage. But aside from that everything was great. There is planty of maps and travel books and business cards that people have left behind so that you can get your way around.

Love Barcelona!

A short ride from the train station to my own little sanctuary, a pleasure after a 16 day bus tour. Clean, well layed out, and all the amenities one needs There are all sorts of shops on the street and around the corner, and the apartment is within easy walking distance to Placa de Catalunya, for HoponHopoff tours/other outside of Barcelona sights, such as the Dali museum in Figueres. A pleasure to walk to Museu de Barcelona, the Roman ruins, for example. My GPS on phone was very helpful in navigating the way. The trip to airport was easy to arrange. I just spoke to a taxi passing in the street. Lyonel responds promptly to any questions. He was most gracious in reminding me that my stay was coming to an end. I really wanted to stay! Centrally located, stylishly presented, the perfect Barcelona pad

My partner and I had a fantastic time in Barcelona staying in Lionel's apartment. It is an easy 10 minute walk from La Ramblas but to be honest it is away from most of the crazy tourist fanfare and in a street where locals live. Walk to either Universitat or Plaza Catulunya metro stop for visits to the beach or La Sagrada Familia or Monjuic, but everything else is in walking distance.

Highlights were the Boqueiria (market) nearby, Bar La Parra (within sight of the apartment) for tapas and the many small supermarkets in the street footsteps away.

Lionel's apartment is stylishly furnished with contemporary decor and many quirky yet captivating art pieces. The main living area opens onto a small Juliet balcony, while the generous bathroom and separate bedroom with built in robe are at the other end. There are two access points (stairs to front door and direct lift opening into the interior of the apartment), as well as a nice cross breeze from the bedroom window to the balcony door.

Lionel has thought of everything - from extra toilet paper to wifi access, plastic bags for shopping, cleaning products and washing powder. There was nothing additional we could have wanted, it was all there.

Thank you to Lionel for entrusting his apartment to us for five fantastic nights, we will be sure to return someday.
