Located within 10 mins walk to sandy beach, 5 mins walk to restaurants and 15 mins walk to Moraira village with supermarkets, close to golf courses, yet situated in a quiet location. This 3 b/room detached villa is in excellent condition, 2 double bed, including one master b/room with en suite bathroom and 1 twin bedroom, all with fitted wardrobes. The master b/room gives access to a terrace on the 2nd floor with sea view. It has a spacious lounge with separate dining area. Very large 22 m2 terrace with barbecue area and a private swimming pool . The 8x4 metre kidney shaped pool overlooked a well kept mature garden with palm tress, orange and lemon trees set in a ground of 850 metre square. The terrace can be lit at night for evening entertainment. A separate garage is accessed through a separate gate. The villa shares a tennis court, sited behind villa , benefits from satellite TV, DVD and CD. Every bedroom has a fan & lounge with airconditioning

Golf details: Moraira area provides excellent golf courses, with Club de Golf Ifach Moraira (9 holes) within 10 mins drive. Also Club de Golf Javea(9 holes) within 20 mins drive with other golf couses Club de Golf la Sella(18 holes) within easy reach.

TERRA MITICA THEME PARK is similar to eurodisney but better layout with ease of accessibiliy from one theme to the next. Within 40 mins drive in benidorm area this park is based on themes from Iberia,Egypt,Greece and Rome providing various shows from gladiator fights,Clepatra's spell,Andulasian Horse, Flamengo and other dances will entertain adults as well as youngsters. Numerous roller coasters from giant to small, various fun carousels, bumper cars, water slides and adventure in spectaculor simulators, etc.

MUNDOMAR MARINE PARK, in Benidorm area provides entertaining shows with display of parrots and other exotic birds, giant seals and spectaculor dolphin shows.

AQUALANDIA WATER PARK: This water park with giant water rides is great fun and a must during the sweltering weather .

we had a fantastic holiday. the villa was ideally situated as we could walk to the restaurants, beach and shops in the village centre. Our kids enjoy the tennis at the back of the villa. we would certainly come back . The villa was ideal for our family and we enjoy the sea view from the top balcony and we make our own lemonade from lemons and freshly squeezed orange juice, picked from the garden. The villa was spacious and very peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful and tranquil and rural though not far from amenities.

Notes:
There is a cold shower on the terrace close to the pool for your convenience.The pool and the gardens are not overlooked, thus providing complete privacy. The tennis court is only yards from the villa, access through a private side road. There is ample space for parking by the side entrance to the villa or the garage accessed from the front gate. From the swimming pool within the large front terrace, on a lower level is the mature garden with palm trees,orange,lemon ,olive and other fruit trees set on a ground of 850 metre square. In moraira village, during summer there is a big fair which caters for every need of your kids, numerous rides, including water rides, bumper car, motor and scooter rides, video games arcade, pool tables etc. In the centre of the village there is a daily market in summer selling bric-a-brac, fantasy jewellery, paintings, shoes, leather bags and portraits by artist, etc. Club de Golf Ifach ,Moraira 9 holes, also Go Karting is within ten mins

Could be just perfect if only...

This property could, and should be awarded 5 stars every time. Its in a fabulous location within 20 minutes slow walk right into the centre of Moraira. Less than 10 minutes walk will get you to the nearest beach and the best british breakfast I have had in a long time. Within the same vacinity is a great Napalese restaurant and some lovely bars.

Inside the property is open plan with a large lounge dinning area and kitchen. Two bedrooms are situated off the lounge together with a bathroom. There is a kitchen off the dining room. The master bedroom is situated on the first floor.

Outside is fabulous. A lovely pool with ample space for six persons to enjoy the sunshine all day. The pool is cleaned twice a week and is refreshing. There is a built in BBQ for alfresco dining.

The overall condition of the property inside is dated. It was built 25 years ago and still has most of the fixtures and fixtures from this era.

The kitchen really does need a really deep clean as does everything that comes with it. Ideally it needs replacing, but that would be on a wish list rather than an absolute necessity. We do not cook every night, but the state of the kitchen and some of the pans made our minds up pretty quickly.

The main reason I would not go back is the air conditioning. There is one unit situated within the lounge. There are no remote settings. The temperature is set to 22 degs and is on a timer for 2 hours. The property desparately needs air conditioning throughout. The night time within the bedrooms was stifling and caused all our party to be very uncomfortable. We did not enjoy one nights decent sleep throughout. We we here in June I can only speculate what it must be like during July and August. There is a ceiling fan in the main top bedroom. However, it just circulated hot air. There were no fans in either of the down stairs bedrooms. However, the agent did provide some for us from his own house.

The property was advertised as having WI FI. It has none. WI FI is provided by "piggy backing" the WIFI from the camping site near by. None of us could get it with our phones. The lap top just about received it. But this was sporadic and very slow.

I am hoping the owner takes my advice, and that of his agent, and updates the property. If he does this property would be absolutely perfect. If he doesnt we wont be going back.

clean, good value family Villa

We Stayed here in June on 2013. We thought it was good value for money. It is a little dated in places but clean with everyhing you need. The pool is spotless and was cleaned 3 times a week. This is a very nice villa and we would come back again. It is set in very quiet and tranquil location.

Great location, nice villa

Great location close to the town, shops, bars, restaurants etc. with the nearest restaurants less than ten minutes walk down the hill. However, it is still a very peaceful plot in a residential area.

Two of us stayed for a week and the villa was great for us. The external areas and private pool are lovely, and were where we spent the vast majority of our time. The top bedroom (circular) was great, and the other 2 on the ground floor were pretty much the same size as each other, with big wardrobes.

A group of six may struggle as there wasn't a lot of crockery/cutlery/glasses etc in the kitchen, one of the hob rings wasn't working, and there was only 4 sun loungers. However, the villa genuinely sleeps 6 without having to have people in the lounge and is otherwise well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, iron, linen etc.

Cleanliness overall was good (BBQ pretty greasy, but that's to be expected). A few areas of wear and tear should probably be addressed, such as replacing bathroom sealant in some areas and a fresh coat of paint outside, but nothing that stopped us enjoying our time there.

Local agent Gavin was friendly and helpful, despite us arriving very late thanks to Monarch!

In summary, a lovely villa in a great location. Would be even better if it was refreshed slightly, but a fair price for the week and lovely external areas means we would happily go back.

ps. Don't rely on sat-nav directions to the villa - they take you through some very narrow, twisty mountain roads - use the simple directions from the owner.

Owner's Response: Now season is over the agent is replacing all crockery,cutlery and glasses. The single hob ring is being replaced. Bathroom sealant around bath invariably become dirty and is being replaced with fresh sealant. We are also adding 2 new sunloungers. The villa was painted three years ago . Due to recent storms the exteriour of the villa is being refreshed, repainted where required.

Disappointing

We were the first party to use the villa this year and were very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness and facilities. Gas BBQ was unusable due to grill being thick with rust. Had to buy new grill and use charcoal. Kitchen stove had only 3 rings that worked. Only 4 sun loungers but 6 adults staying in villa with only 2 cushions. We did get a further 2 cushions after a few days. The microwave was rusty and was replaced by a used microwave after a week but this was none too clean. Air conditioning in the lounge poured water out after only being used for 10 minutes, we were told this could be as a result of a nest but nothing was done to rectify it. In the 2nd bedroom the matress for the double bed did not fit the bed, it was short by about a foot at the top and had to be wedged with spare pillows which moved about at night. Bathrooms filthy and mould in evidence around bath, shower and the door to the upstairs sun terrace.

Mature gardens were actually dead plants and foliage, no watering systems or even a hosepipe. Could have been a lovely villa with a little care and attention and a good spring clean.

Owner's Response: There were droplets of water from air con condensation pipe which split and has been repaired.The air con is working in perfect order. The double bed is a continental bed with mattress short by some 3 inches with a bolster fitted. In the bathrooms little spots of mould come under the silicone edging around the wall. New sealant has been applied. Bathrooms are cleaned before any guest arrival, the reviewer seems to be overzealous. Flower bedding early May were unfortunately washed away by the unsually heavy rains late May. The Olive tree ,palm trees and orange trees are still in the front and back gardens.

The description of everything was absolutely accurate.We had such an enjoyable time in this villa. The local agent, Gavin, was really helpful, drove us to the local supermarket when we arrived so we could do a "big" shop, checked up on us during our holiday which as "three ladies with three young girls" we felt very supported and safe.

Would highly reccomend this villa.

Moraira enjoys an enviable climate all year round with cool sea breezes in Summer and is a land privileged by its golden sandy beaches and inland where lush green valleys of fertile orchards contrast with mountains. Moraira is about one hour's drive from Alicante or Valencia airport about 1hr 20 mins. The area is devoid of high buildings or big hotels and consist primarily of privately owned villas. Small enchanting coves cover the area and even in high season these provide a quiet corner to enjoy your stay.

Teulada within 10 mins drive from Moraira provide a fish auction every day except Sunday at the 'Lonja'. Popular markets take place every Wednesday at Teulada and every Friday at Moraira from 8 am to 3 pm.Enjoy a walk along the 8 km coastline along its delightful beaches and coves from El Portet, l'Ampolla to L'Andrago, all awarded with the blue flag of the EEC. Restaurants are within 5 mins walk off the three beaches and the view from the hill is amazing.

Golf: There are a number of golf courses within easy reach of the villa. Club de Golf Ifach Moraira (9 holes) is within 10 mins drive. Green fees are around 21 euros.
