1 Bdrm Apartment With Period Features in the Heart of London

Hello and welcome to our lovely little flat we look forward to hosting you soon.

Located in Zone 1 and with high ceilings and period fireplaces this flat is the perfect place to stay in London. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen ceramic stove, oven/microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a 40' wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking station and sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and plenty of storage. There is both a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom and linen and towels are provided. For your safety the flat has a security door entry phone system and smoke detectors.

My apartment is in such an amazing location, most Londoners travel at least an hour to work and back everyday missing out on the enjoyment and wonder that living in Central London brings. The apartment is perfectly formed, well laid out and comfortable. The period features add to the character of the apartment. I just think it is a super little flat in an amazing location

Small but Great Location - could use some TLC on the interior

We recently stayed in this apartment for 4 nights and would overall, recommend it ( but for no more than 2 people due to it's size). The location is superb; close to the St. James Park underground station, and even closer to the major bus stops at Westminster Abbey. The street is incredibly quiet and safe - really an ideal location. Regarding the interior: there are some simple cosmetic fixes that the owner should certainly attend to.

A new water heater was placed on the wall of the shower/tub but it's obviously smaller than the one it replaced - the caulking around the new unit is pathetically patched. Also the tub is VERY deep and it was dangerously difficult to get in and out of ( a handle attached to the wall for getting in and out would be a great improvement.) A strange medicine cabinet is placed directly above the TINY bathroom sink, so it's impossible to place your head over the sink for teeth brushing etc.. ( suggestion: remove the cabinet and replace with some simple narrow bathroom shelving.) There are other patching issues throughout the apartment that wouldn't take much time or money to address, but would make this a much more pleasing apartment to stay in.

The bedroom is small, but it wouldn't be bad if a huge and predominantly useless floor to ceiling modular cabinet wasn't taking up so much room! You have to squeeze by the closet to inch your way to the door (which won't open fully because the closet is in the way!) It's still workable, it would just be so much nicer with a closet about half the size of the one that's there.

All this being said, the neighborhood is quiet, the location great, and the apartment small, but cute enough. Some simple improvements would make this a no-brainer for someone wanting an apartment in a great area for visiting London.

Lovely and Quaint

We very much enjoyed London. The flat was clean, nice and simple. The owner was quick at responding to emails and took great concern that everything was just right for our visit. The bed was very comfortable. The flat is close to many sights. We walked almost everywhere around Westminster area. St James Park is nearby and a lovely place to walk through on the way to Buckingham palace. My favorite was laying in bed and listening to Big Ben. It's not loud, but peaceful. <3

Excellent location

This is a well-maintained, compact apartment in the beautiful area near Westminster Cathedral. Tim responds quickly and was even considerate enough to mail us a gift we accidentally left behind. I would highly recommend this property as being perfect for two people.

Sweet cozy apartment . The owner was easy to contact and check in was seamless ! Bed was comfy and while the bathroom was small it was totally workable. The washer and dryer was great and the apartment contained everything we needed !!! Quiet nieghbourhood within easy walking distance to so many attractions. Loved hearing Big Ben every evening ! There is a grocery just a block away for essentials and of course wine :) there is a pret a porter across the street for morning coffe and an amazing Itsu across the other street for some yummy suppers ! All in all a great stay and would totally come back !!
