This completely renovated cottage is next to the house owners. 15 km from Bayeux with its tapestry, its cathedral, its museums of good restaurants and bistros The landing beaches are 30 minutes Arromanches with the remains of the artificial port used for the Liberation of Normandy; Omaha Beach and Pegasus Bridge are all less than an hour away and St Lô is only 5 minutes away. Mont St Michel is an hour and a half from the house.
This area of Normandy is ideational to explore all these sites as part of a stay of one or two weeks. During July and August stays of a minimum of one week and for the rest of the year the minimum stay is 2 days.
The cottage has been renovated and offers a fully equipped kitchen (gas hob, extractor, fridge, washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. The dining room is on the ground floor Upstairs there is the living room with TV and sofa bed (one person). bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, two bedrooms each with double bed and a small bed and a sofa bed 1 place in the living room. Sleeps 4 to 6 people.
The south facing terrace provides a quiet and private place to eat outdoors. Barbecue available on request. Secure parking.
Opposite the bar-grocery store (meals less than 10 € all day until 19H). Farm and local products are available direct on the farm within 1 km, and the nearest supermarkets are 10 minutes away at Molay Littry.

The Normandy landing beaches are only 30 minutes' drive away. Arromanches, the website of the remains of the artificial harbor used During The liberation of Normandy, Omaha Beach, Juno Beach or Pegasus Bridge are all less than an hour away. The Caen Memorial Museum is only 30 minutes' drive while Saint Lô (a course in the 2016 Tour de France) is only 15 minutes from the house. The village has a bar / grocery which sells meals and the nearest supermarkets are at under 10 minutes in the nearby small town, the Molay Littry. There is a farm shop with local produce in the village.
